The breakfast was diverse. From local produce - bread, cherries, jams, eggs, cherry cake - to healthy options of fruit and yogurt with granola. A special note about the cherries which were in season and the eggs were from chicken raised in the Quinta.
The hosts were catering for the breakfast, including coffee and juices. We didn't need to get up from the table.
A bonus was the view from the dining hall. A clear view of the surrounding mountain chain.
The host recommend a restaurant in a nearby town which was great.
Housekeeping was nicely done and our toiletries pouches were stored inside the drawers in the bathroom.
Wished I had more time because the pool is bathed by the sun throughout the day. When the weather is above 30 ºC, that's the place to be. Inside water, surrounded by mountains.

We stayed at the Villa and loved it. As a couple with 2 small children it completely filled our needs as it looks like a studio with all you need. The private pool for the Villas was excellent and the surrounding areas were just as great with plenty room to walk and sunbathe - a true relaxing experience.
The staff were amazing and always went above and beyond to meet our needs.

To be honest I could not find any negative points
The facilities were excellent, the staff absolutely attentive and amazing. Dinning and bar food was superb. Value for money, the best ever I have found.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, mountain view and a terrace, Lugar nas Estrelas is located in Peso. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace.
Excellent house to rent. The house is on three floors so not recommended for people with mobility issues. One bedroom and one washroom on the two upper floors for good privacy. A/c and heat on each floor. Very clean and full kitchen.
It is only a couple of minutes from Fundao so we ate there when not eating at the house. We will return here again. The owner is very helpful and not intrusive as he lives offsight. The parking is directly across a small street and free.

Beautiful historic village.
Beautiful historic village. The church is very near the house and is really beautiful inside (n.b. the clock chimes every hour and half hour, twice!) Donas has all the basic facilities you would need, and there is a train service from the bottom of the street which you could use for shopping trips or to explore other towns or villages.
