Absolutely amazing place with a very welcoming and friendly host.
It is a very nice property, off the beaten track in rural tranquility, 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive to the ocean.
the kitchen is very well equipped. Everyting is brand new and immaculate clean. There is a beautiful terrace to enjoy fantastic sunsets. We stayed as a family of three and it was just perfect.
This property exceeded my expectations and would love to come back.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax.
We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer than one night. The suite was spacious and fabulous. Everything was very modern and clean and we had an extremely large bathroom 'suite'. There was plenty of space for everything. We had complimentary fruit on arrival. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. I thought I had lost my passport whilst unpacking and one of the staff spent a lot of time helping me to find it with very good grace. The breakfast was very good. I didn't use all the facilities. I wasn't expecting them as I thought the hotel was 3* but it really was of 4* calibre as far as I was concerned.
