This place is a dream. Endless possibilities if you are water lovers: surfing, bodysurfing, swimming in the lagoon and countercurrent in the canal. It is possible to spearfishing, collect seafood and foraging wild herbs, which allow you to spend little or nothing if you cook your meals. The team is wonderful. Special thanks to the chef who offered me nine dinners with gluten-free menus, I couldn't do better even at home. The organization is perfect and the cleanliness is excellent. I will definitely come back. Thanks again, see you guys

Jorge is a fantastic host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. He helped organise taxis for our hikes and gave us excellent recommendations.
The cabanas were probably the best accommodation on the island and we had a very comfortable stay. The outdoor patio was particularly peaceful with sounds of birds chirping and lots of greenery around. We could park our car for free.
There was restaurant on site (with great views of Mount Pico) which was open for dinner and that was an additional advantage as we didn’t need to step out in the evening.
Situated in Urzelina in the São Jorge Island region, Villas Casteletes has a patio. Boasting sea views, a garden and a pool with a view, this farm stay also includes free WiFi.

The breakfast was delicious and I loved how friendly and sweet and down to earth Julia, Tanya, and Monica were! I also loved how comfortable the beds were Ohmygoodness.

The apartments location is key. Walking distance to the harbour, inner city, ocean boardwalk, natural pool.
The rooms are spacious, easily host 6 guests. The kitchen dinning also has space for six guests.
The outdoor terrace is a bonus with a view to Pico Mountain.
Cold water was provided in the fridge, fruit and cookies as well.
Plenty of good size towels were provided
This is a good place for a short term stay or even a week.
very nice hostel, the single/double rooms are actually hotel-like rooms. Very clean and quiet, beautiful view.
The hostel is not in the "center" of Calheta , but it has a big supermarket very close, a restaurant, and also a beautiful natural pool in a walking distance ( 10-15 mins) .
The port is about 20 min walk so if you have heavy luggage better take a taxi. There is a steep climb to do, albeit short. I can recommend to young / fit people, after all it is an hostel
A unique and stunning location, isolated from the rest of the Island. For this reason you have to make a short and pleasant walk to reach the Hotel, left your car in the parking. Rooms are very clean and tidy, with excellent viewof the Ocean and Pico Island. breakfast is very good and healthy, expressly made. the owner, Cristina, and hotel manager, Silvia, are very kind and ready to help in anything. we hardly recommand this place,
The property is absolutely stunning! it’s beautiful with crashing waves on one side, beautiful trails on the other side. A twenty min walk takes one to town and the only coffee plantation in Europe with fresh and tasty espresso. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. it contains wonderfully thoughtful details of a tea garden, lawn chairs, glorious views, and benches to sit and relax or read.
