It felt very homely, like staying with distant relatives who you don't speak the same language as. Everyone was so nice and also the dogs were very funny. Felt very private to be in the cabin on the other end of the property. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. This place is a treasure. Challenging to find and have to meet the owner late in the afternoon or evening, but it simply one of the beautiful places we have ever stayed. It is a beautifully retored historic winery with the ancient press still crossing the ceiling of the dining area, with lovely stone walls.
