The accommodation was very spacious, and the atmosphere was really relaxed around the compound. Our reception reception was excellent, accommodating for our wishes to have an early exit (and giving us a very early breakfast). Great place, wanted to stay longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery and amenities a little bit more. Would definitely recommend!

The entire experience from the first to the last minute was absolutely incredible. The house is beautiful and with a super cosy decor. Not to mention the huge garden that brings us peace and takes us into the middle of nature (you can even relax in a hammock!!). During our stay, we had a 30th anniversary and the accommodation offered us a (huge) cake and sparkling wine. All these treats make a difference and raise our expectations compared to other places.
Carolina (Reservation Manager) is lovely, super available and made us "feel at home"

Casa Baleia Laranja on Pico Island was an absolute delight. The property is unique and exquisitely designed, equipped perfectly for a cozy and comfortable stay. Nestled in a serene and private location, it offered stunning beauty in abundance. The cherry on top was our wonderful host, who was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. When on the island it one of the most balanced and coziest places to stay. The food is home made like grandma quality with a morden twist. It’s my preferred spot with the best meat and the freshest fish and the best azorean secret “Lapas”. The wow factor is there. i’ve just come back!

The location was the best! Near the airport, the ocean, many local sights and just a 10min ride to Madalena. The restaurant on location has great regional food. The hosts were always available when needed and extremely helpful.
