Our stay at Casa da Moira was absolutely superb. From the lovely reception and care from the owners and staff to the amazing view, structure, and delicious breakfast. We could have spent many more days by the pool, enjoying the garden and the view of the river valley. Highly recommended for a perfect relaxing time in Alentejo!

All the people took care of us as if we belong to their families. So lovelly people specially Diogo and Vera. The food was delightful, home-made, generous amounts, local. The house really magic transported me to my childhood, also very clean.

The house is a good size, super clean and at a good temperature (since it was very warm outside).
The host, Solange, was very friendly and the house was easy to find. The check-in/check-out was smooth and with no issues.

it is a very peaceful town though - so choose casa moira as you will need a place to relax with dining facilities
A must is to visit clube nautico near to avis amazing food and water sports on the river
This accommodation was like a 5 star hotel, they thought of everything. The rooms were beautiful and had bathrobes and slippers on the bed. They also had lots of snacks in the fridge. We were the only ones there at that time and they went above and beyond with the breakfast for just 2 people. I can't recommend this enough and I hope to be able to get back there again. At the time we were only passing through the area.
Casa da Moira is not a Hotel more a Guest House. The owners are a lovely family and very friendly. However don't expect hotel facilities and be aware there is no restaurant, although the owner did provide a cold plate.
There is a very pleasant garden with a pool to relax. The views from the terrace of the main house are wonderful.
The location was ideal for us - very close to the motorcycle event that we were exhibiting at. Breakfast was the main meal that we consistently ate at the hotel and it was delicious and varied. The few dinners we had there were well prepared and presented and the service was of consistently high quality.
Located in the wilds! Our mistake was using the hotel as a stop-over. Such a waste as there's loads to do. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Strong ecological ethos, lovely infinity pool, subtle and charming decor throughout
