Very good location, never more than 1km from things to do like Alvor center, bars, or the beach. Access to the pool, large common areas and kitchen all positives. The staff and cleanliness also top notch. Would recommend for short and long stays!

First of all, the owner of the Club is the manager: he is there and on top of everything. He is a wealth of information. His advice to visit Évora was spot on. Secondly, the place is gorgeous both architecturally and naturally.
The beach and rock formations are stunning. The antiques throughout the hotel are gorgeous. Breakfast was not only nutritious but so generous.
Finally, the restaurants nearby offered great options and a variety of vibes. Loved this place and we will hopefully come back! Written by Richard's wife Mercedes

Very easy to get around with all the boardwalks linking the town and the beaches. Lots of wonderful fish and seafood restaurants. A bit quiet for a family for more than a week unless you relish R&R.

Alvor is a lovely place to holiday,There is a boardwalk right along the beach and down to the nature reserve at one end. There are so many lovely restaurants and there is plenty of choice of types of meals on offer. We particularly like the restaurants servig Portuguese food and the fish restaurants by the harbour.
There is a local bus to Portimao and it is also possible to visit other places by bus.

I really liked Alvor - a small quiet town for relaxation. Picturesque coastline, friendly residents, many places to eat deliciously. A convenient place to visit the whole Algarve - Alvor is in the middle. The most beautiful place in Alvor for me is the old town and the beach. We ate a lot of seafood. Great local food, wine, coffee bike. We visited the farthest point in Europe, Cabo da Roca; the highest point in the Algarve - Monchique. I would love to come here again.
We've stayed at this small hotel several times. Located in the middle of Alvor, short walks to everything, including pubs,, restaurants, shops and the river and the beach, but the neighbourhood is far enough from the pub district to be quiet. Very clean and comfortable, with a variety of different types of room, each with a balcony, some with a kitchen. Excellent Portuguese restaurant next door for lunch and especially dinner. Staff (Isabelle and Natasha) are wonderful and very helpful.
Sea view, location, friendly staff, good breakfast selection, nice outdoor area, clean and tidy, would recommend to couples, families, singles.
Pestana has a number of hotels around the world I’ve stayed in a few, found that they are well managed and seem to employ good staff, so if you see a Pestana hotel don’t hesitate.
I will be staying again in February 2023, therefore confirmation that the hotel is good.
Very friendly staff. Good bathtub. Decent breakfast. Super close to the beach. Overall the experience was good, but we got disappointed with a bunch of other things, like the lack of storage space in the bedroom, the fact that the hotel bar was very limited and didn’t serve snacks outside of meal hours and, most importantly, the bed isn’t what you expect from a hotel bed.
The most amazing location and views between Alvor and Portimao, with a semi-private naturist beach that's stunning. Super friendly owner took great care of us. Also easy walking distance to a beach with chair and shade for hire. Room was huge and comfortable. Clearly the best place to stay in the area! I'm already missing the balcony with ocean views.
As a world traveler and experienced hotels and resorts in the world, I find this place very unique. Foz club is located in a nice and secluded area, with both beautiful garden and ocean surroundings.

Second trip after last year. The hotel is a top spot for tourism in Alvor, close to the town centre with lots of good restaurants. Also close to the highway entry, useful for my business in Autodromo do Algarve. Good breakfast with lots of fresh fruits. If available, I'll be back also with my wife
The location of thos hotel is great. It is a 5 minute walk from the beachfront and about 15 minute walk to Alvor town. The hotel is spotless clean, great pool, very nice lobby and outdoor area. All the staff were very friendly and looked after us well. The rooms are modern and a comfortable bed.
the hotel is a low raise building nearly on the beach, just a short work along the boardwalk, breakfast is more suited for Europeans than British however all was good. very good for families as there's a few pools with loungers
the village is approx 20 minutes away on foot, 5 minute taxi ride.
It was super clean and staff were nice and helpful. Location is super good with free parking spots. It had some restaurants right outside and a supermarket as well. The hostel is also in walking distance from the center of Alvor, which has a lot of nice and cozy restaurants.
Great apartment - everything you need. Pool and terrace bigger than in the photos. Great bakery around the corner and supermarket 10 minutes away.
Beaches are gorgeous and Alvor had everything you need. We travelled on to Lisbon, catching a bus from the centre of Alvor.
Marta was a wonderful host, always keen to help! The hotel was perfectly located in the town of Alvor, only a few minutes away from the beach. The cosy bar, the rooftop and the access to a fully equiped kitchen were definitely a plus! We strongly recommend!
We had an overall pleasant stay in Oct 21. The spacious hotel allowed to spend a relaxed time, no matter if in the room, at the pool or at the restaurant. Wide selection of food was great. The location at the beach can only be called marvellous.
Spotless, modern apartment, very close to Alvor's restaurant/shopping/nightlife scene, and yet very quiet and peaceful. Centrally located with regards to beaches and nearby towns. We can't say enough about how helpful Jim (the owner) was.
The Apartment was spacious, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything needed for a very pleasant stay. It was also perfectly situated within strolling distance of all that Alvor has to offer. I honestly couldn't have asked for more.
Quiet area. The Alvor boardwalk 2-3 min walk from the hotel. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, cooking range if one is planning to eat in and stay for a longer duration. The restaurants are within walking distance.
Alvor Baía is a lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The pool is great, loads of sun loungers and life guards on duty. The kids loved the mini disco. The hotel was absolutely spotless.
