The hotel is located on a working farm (Quinta) in a beautiful rural area about 30 min drive from the main town of Loule. A quiet, peaceful area surrounded by fields of flowers and hills at the base of the Rocha Da Pena mountain. The hotel is part of a working sheep farm with a restaurant that serves meals made from local produce. A lovely getaway for a night or two, and day visitors wanting to enjoy the walking trails and fontes in the area.
We enjoyed a one night getaway to celebrate mothers day. The breakfast was outstanding- A large selection of foods from the area, served on a platter for two. Highly recommended. There is also a beautiful heated pool.

Up on the Hill near Alte you can find this amazing B&B. The rooms are very stylish and clean. There are some wonderful areas in de garden to enjoy the surroundings, the view and the serenity. These outside areas are wonderfully decorated and very cosy! And the hosts are just perfect - you will probably never find people more dedicated that you can enjoy your stay! and they serve very nice breakfast! if you are in the south of portugal I highly recommend to stay at this fantastic place for at least to days!!
Staff are so friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean. Mr and my son spent their absolute best time!!!. It was quite place. If u planning peace Holiday it's a place for u! Good to have own transport to have more chance to visit places around. I was using a botl or uber . But u need to know its sometime hard to have it when u request to hotel. Never have any problem in other way. Price is aroun 18-20€ to abufaira old town . With is excellent place where u can spend time on the beach and have a meal.

The best views ever even at night.
There a pool and sun loungers which is very good and a beautiful garden area. Set in the Algarve mountains and close to the village of Alte which offers restaurants, bars and other attractions. This place is great for cyclists and walkers.

Amazing house in a silent rural area. Everything like in the pictures. House was very clean, there was wifi, english movie channels and everything else to have the best time. The small details really impressed us :) Also small cold water jacuzzi was a nice morning wake up for me.
There was a wonderful hiking road to Alte near the house and we used this going to town and back.
Communication was quick and check-in super easy.

The staff was amazingly nice, always with a smile and trying to help with everything, both the room and the hotel itself were very clean, the location has a breath taking view and the hotel has a lot of stuff to spend time on or to relax, completely worth repeating

The hotel is located not in the center of the city but with a car it's easy, there is a parking, so it's great and a restaurant that I try because I didn't want to take my car again. The food and service were very good, so perfect

Second time we stayed at Alte traditional guesthouse. Friendly people, nice rooms abd we enjoyed the sunny terrace with open air jacuzzi. We will come back to this place.
This place is a gem in Alte village. We loved the style, really peaceful, comfortable room, and a wonderful pool and roof with jacuzzi. We'd love to come back.
