Loves the little phrases on the walls and the details of the traditional Portuguese local decor. As Portuguese mayself, it was really nice to see. The breakfast on their own bakery was super yummi, and recommend the products there, fresh and super tasty. Location is very cute, the village is very nice, located near beautiful beaches.

The accommodation was impeccably maintained, with everything appearing brand new and thoughtfully crafted by the owners themselves. The personal touch was evident in every detail, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pool was a highlight, providing the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. The location offered a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and amenities, if you have a car (!) Overall, the combination of the beautifully done interior, relaxing pool, and genuine hospitality made it a truly memorable stay.

A cute hotel with interesting decor. The pool area was nice, although we didn’t swim. Our double room was spacious and had a little balcony which was nice to air out our things from a days hike. The breakfast spread was really nice, a lot of options and available as early as 7:30 for an early start on the trail.

We loved staying here. The hosts were super friendly and ready to help whenever we needed them, I cannot stress enough how welcome they made us feel, it was like visiting a friend's house. The place itself is amazing for families, very comfortable, and close to amazing beaches. We felt at home and our kids loved the animals and playing around. Highly recommended.

Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature, surfing, good food, a slower pace of life. I would recommend staying in Aljezur, getting a car to drive around to different beaches and villages where you can find good restaurants. In the evening, in Aljezur, always book ahead a table.

A magical small village with tiny streets and houses, nice restaurants The river is full of life, edpecially dozens of turtles sun bathing. the beaches are close and the castle above the city gives a nice overview although it is just a ruin.
nice massage at “em boas maos“ at the other side of the river in the new part of town.
there is also a nice walkway east of the castle directly below with benches to rest and look over the whole village and countryside.

We hope to return.
We hope to return. The presence of an active cultural life was important for us. We felt like we were in a town and region alive and not just a tourist setting.
By the way, asking these questions in English also, would be helpful.

What I liked is that it is truly a get away from the busier touristy parts of Portugal. What I didn't like is that google maps has its location for a national park located in the middle of a farm that has sand on the surrounding roads that are easy to get stuck in.

If you want to explore the west coast of Portugal Aljezur is a good choice for a stop over. We travelled from the south and beaches we visited on our way were spectacular. Going North this morning it was equally as good.
The hotel is very cleverly designed - giving a feeling of relaxed luxury. Although modern it does blend into the beautiful surroundings. We had a great walk from hotel to Praia do Canal, then Arrifana for lunch, and back to hotel. It was good to just leave car in the car park for two days. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, helpful and professional. We spent a very relaxing time in the spa, and very much enjoyed our massages. We ate well in the restaurant, the chocolate dessert well worth the calories.
We did Fisherman's Trail and the location was perfect. A mini market was just 5 min down the hill and the big supermarket was 15min walk away. A lot of cafes on the main street, near the mini market.
We loved that it was in the historical part of the town, with the old castle just up the hill. It looked amazing at night with all the lights on.
The owner of the house was very responsive. Answer all of our questions right away.
We also loved the lemon tree outside the window, just across the tiny street.
This was certainly one of the highlights of my hiking trip throughout Portugal!
The property is bright and clean. The staff, from check in to check out, were extremely friendly, especially the lady who brought the breakfasts (sorry I forget her name) which were truly excellent!
The room facilities were very good, as were the shared areas such as pool etc.
The towels and toiletries provided were excellent and the bathroom was luxurious. All in all, a wonderful stay thank you!
The breakfast is really great and the beds super confortable. The bathroom was brand new.
The "hand made" decoration is amazing and contribute to the nice atmosphere of the hotel, together with the friendly and helpfull and easy going staff.
Large garden around (nice for kids and 4 legs friends) and padel court next conner.
By far one of the best stays I had in Portugal. The owners put so much love into the space and the experience, you can really tell the effort they put in. Beautiful interior, high quality and clean amenities, and the best breakfast I had at any hotel or BnB. I hope to come back. Thank you Anne and Stefan ❤️
An excellent view and a peaceful place, less than 5 minutes by car from the beach.
The staff was always eager to help us, very nice people with that great hospitality mindset we aim to see around these parts of Portugal.
Perfect venue for weekend getaways.
Epic location to get off the usual track around Portugal, we stumbled across this last minute and it has great views of the ocean, close to beach, and amazing burgers and cheap beers for dinner. Beds are super comfortable and cool at night during summer
Fantastic stay, everything was beautiful. Very modern and comfortable accommodations no detail left undone. Fabulous breakfast, comfortable bed, furnishings, cooking essentials and a great pool with loungers and shade.
Great location near lots of restaurants and cafes. Lovely room with balcony, modern bathroom, just a bit tight to get into!! Shared kitchen was great, to have access to a fridge.
Very good lokation in the center of Aljezur, very clean, spacious room with the kitchen and balcony with excellent viee. Parking in front of the hotel, excellent breakfast.
Location is good! The beach below is nearby. Everything is fine, especially a good location if you are a surfer. Parking is available outside, which is perfect.
