Weather was great, plenty of restaurants, it is basically a place for hen and stag parties and teenaged clubbing. Great place to eat is Wander Inn and Cockrill.
Very easy to get around as there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuks.
We would definitely avoid staying as close to the nightclubs.

The area can be challenging because of the many hills and steps when getting around. There are lots of really nice places to eat out just of the many square in old town.
The beach has lovely golden sand. The nearby caves can be experienced by daily boat tours.
Some of the town gets crowded with hen/ stag/ groups.

The appartment was brand new. The interior design and finish were lovely. Its location was perfect with a quick walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend!

The beaches are great, some with rocks but most with great sands and views. The catamaran trips and offroad safari are worth it, the seafood and most of every street food is always fresh and tastes great.
The location couldn't be better. Steps to the fun and shopping of Old Town, great restaurants and Peneco Beach (which has an elevator!). Its a fantastic property. Front desk staff is EXCELLENT. Breakfast was perfect and the pool and deck with the view of the beach is magical. Everything you could want in a boutique beach hotel. We were lucky enough to be in town for an annual festival taking place but wouldn't have known unless we saw the flyer in the lobby! What a treat...immersed in a locals event on the first night of our trip...
Very clean property with good facilities and pricing. One Bedroom apartments are comfortable for 2-3 people. Rooms are very good quality. Housekeeping staff are very friendly and efficient. Front Desk Manager/Supervisor lady was very nice and helpful. very nice pool area with plenty of sun beds and space for size of hotel. Quiet location at night so great for a good night’s sleep after visiting the old town which is a 10-minute stroll or €4 taxi cab away.
Everything about it was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Aparthotel Paladim and if returning to Albufeira will certainly stay here again. Great location , walk out the front door and turn right for New Town strip and left for the Old Town approx ten to fifteen minute walk each way. The apartment we got was lovely , plenty of space with a large beautiful bathroom plus a big balcony overlooking the two pools.
Vila Branca is an amazing property in the Albufeira Old Town. I communicated with Nico - the property manager during my stay and he was really kind, professional and helpful host. The 1 bedroom apartment in which I stayed was neat, tidy and spotless clean. Everything was accessible and within walking distance from Vila Branca.
Useful tip: Try the cafe across from the property. It serves the best coffee and meals.
Pool was awesome! Not loads of sunbeds but we stayed for a weekend and when we needed a sunbed, we got one.
The views from our rooms were some of the best i have ever seen.

Absolutely LOVED Hotel Baltum! The staff were so friendly and our room was ready early for us. It was clean, cozy and had an amazing view off our balcony. It was also an amazing location - we were able to walk to the beach in less than five minutes and we were able to walk all over Old Town. We also took advantage of the amazing rooftop and drinks on the rooftop as well. I could not recommend more!
We were upgraded to Cerro do Mar, which is where you're supposed to check in when you stay at Silmar. The hotel has very nice facilities (pools, spa, restaurant, ...), although we didn't use any because we just went back to the hotel to sleep at night. The view from our room was great, 6th floor facing towards the Albufeira old town. Facilities and rooms are clean and nice.
Ruben is a super host and makes an effort to assist with anything we ask, even a dentist. The apartment is clean, luxurious, well equipped and the best location in the old town. The parties going on around is noisy but not in an unpleasant way. Nothing earplugs cannot solve. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Albufeira.
This hotel is like paradise! Pool area is so quiet & beautiful. We were able to relax every day by the pool. Bedrooms are lovely & bed was extremely comfortable! The spa was fantastic, beautiful facilities & the treatment I got done (signature ritual) was heavenly! Ubers were cheap& quick from hotel into Marina/ old town area.
Hotel was very clean, room was good, nice selection of food & it was great to have the option to eat in some of the other Grand Muthu hotels nearby - we were all inclusive. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from The Strip but a taxi ride away from the Old Town.
The location is great walking distance to the beach and old town. Really easy to find and get to, bus stop close by. The staff really made it a good experience and cleaned the bathroom often. The staff gave good advice of what to do in Albufeira. The hostel also helps with booking tours.

Very modern and new room and hotel.(it had only been open from a recent renovation for one month). It was right in the center of the tourist old town and 2 blocks from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.
