Liked everything about it. Was able to check in earlier than said time, room was decent, big, very clean. Staff were lovely. Ideal location not too far from old town, unless you're less mobile then it would be hard going as it's up a few steep streets. Breakfast included and a pool too. Comfy beds as well

Honestly I can’t tell express how shit this place was. The place was filled with giant cockroaches, they were everywhere, under beds, sofas and absolutely terrifying. Upon informing the place about them they have proceeded to not answer us. Additionally we feel scammed by the property as upon arrival there was a crack in the sink, which we just assumed they would’ve notice it from the previous guests. However after our stay they then charged us 200 euros for the damage to the sink which we did not cause. When we contacted them about there mistake, they have further showed terrible customer service and ignored us, when they responded days later they very childish messages. There customer service was beyond disrespectful even before the cockroach and additional unfair charges, as they offered very unclear directions and limited communication leaving us standing around the apartment at 10 o’clock at night wondering if the booking was actually real.
For future guests please save yourself the hassle of cockroaches and go else where. But if you are brave enough to face the roaches be careful of being scammed with unfair additional charges, already damaged property being blamed on your and don't give them your card details.
However if we look on the bright side, the one thing they have going for them is the pictures are accurate and the place is quite nice in terms of size and location. Additionally the pool looks nice however just take into consideration that is is not heated and I doubt cleaned so quite cold and the sun beds are under lock and key so pretty much unusable.

Once I moved accommodation, it was great. I love Albufeira, I've been most years for the past 15 years. The beaches are beautiful and the people are friendly. There's lots to do for all ages. I also hire a car so I have independence but everything is fairly accessible without it. I didn't visit Zoomarine this time, but normally it is a must go - preferably for 2 days (2nd day much cheaper). Also enjoyed Krazy World zoo and Slide n Splash water park. Didn't like Aquashow water park, although has big rides suitable for adults. Quarteira is worth a visit, as is Tavira. Liked Lagos but the water is colder the further west you go!

Weather was great, plenty of restaurants, it is basically a place for hen and stag parties and teenaged clubbing. Great place to eat is Wander Inn and Cockrill.
Very easy to get around as there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuks.
We would definitely avoid staying as close to the nightclubs.

The area can be challenging because of the many hills and steps when getting around. There are lots of really nice places to eat out just of the many square in old town.
The beach has lovely golden sand. The nearby caves can be experienced by daily boat tours.
Some of the town gets crowded with hen/ stag/ groups.
Because we arrived late in the evening and Susana was super helpful before arrival with suggestions where to grab a bite to eat. Susana (reception) was fantastic and very helpful during our 7 night stay. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The facilities were brilliant, everything you need in a self catering apartment. The location is fantastic with a supermarket 5mins walk away. Getting to Albufeira Strip or Old Town was similar distance with a taxi as well as to the Albufeira beach (old town).
Helena's house was the perfect property for our stay in the heart of Albufeira. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were large and comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was consistent, and the host was friendly and super helpful. The location was also excellent: 5 minutes' walk to beach and the picturesque Old Town of Albufeira, near the biggest supermarket in town and some of the best bars and restaurants. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Thank you for the nice accommodation in the heart of the old town of Albufeira. We had everything we needed in the room. The location of the apartment is perfect, the sea is right next to it. And of course the view is absolutely amazing. Carlos was incredibly helpful and drove to save me from the balcony when I was locked out, and the woman from the hotel staff was wonderfully, friendly, funny and very helpful.
It was also fun to watch movies, because they had good channels there!
The hotel is very clean, modern and in the perfect location right near the strip and a 10 minute drive to the old town. The staff communicate via WhatsApp and you can ask them for anything you need that way. The pool is well maintained, clean and has a lovely relaxed vibe. The pool bar is great for lunch or snacks until 8pm and breakfast was a buffet style which was also lovely. The rooms had a paid mini bar with wine and complimentary water and coffee machine ready on arrival.
Very clean property with good facilities and pricing. One Bedroom apartments are comfortable for 2-3 people. Rooms are very good quality. Housekeeping staff are very friendly and efficient. Front Desk Manager/Supervisor lady was very nice and helpful. very nice pool area with plenty of sun beds and space for size of hotel. Quiet location at night so great for a good night’s sleep after visiting the old town which is a 10-minute stroll or €4 taxi cab away.
Location was ideally located 2 mins walk to a big indoor supermarket and 15 mins walk to either Old Town or New Town, the rooms are clean, very spacious and practical, the sun loungers are comfortable and the kids pool was great for the babys & toddlers, the staff and local Portuguese are lovely and welcoming, lots of very good restaurants in the old town, would highly recommend this hotel and a holiday to Albufeira! 🙂
Management, receptionist and other staff are very professional and welcoming. Hotel is located in the best part of the town. Few steps from the beautiful beach and old town. There are many restaurants and shops just outside of the hotel. Housekeepers work hard to maintain the place clean and tidy. Very good value for the money. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Location was good however hard for families with buggy’s as there is 100 steps to climb from old town. Taxi were cheap however so can avail of those. Swimming pool in main hotel was lovely and staff were very friendly. We had dinner in hotel one night and food was good- starters were on the small side ( we go mussels and there were only 4!) mains were lovely.
The pool and gym facilities are excellent. Breakfast is amazing. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We chose the hotel for the location as we did not want to be in the town centre around all the noise. It did not disappoint. The Sao Rafael beach is also amazing. It was perfect. It is only 10 minutes and 7-10 euro in a taxi to the old town.

Location is extremely good having everything in vicinity in case you feel that some things are not suitable for you.

Hotel was very clean, room was good, nice selection of food & it was great to have the option to eat in some of the other Grand Muthu hotels nearby - we were all inclusive. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from The Strip but a taxi ride away from the Old Town.
