great site right by the river. but extremely noisy with the passing traffic. it seems to be next to a tunnel that all ambulances take cos you’ll get three or four screaming down the path every night at least, not to mention those in the day. in terms of location, there are many other options with equally great access to the beautiful sights of Porto

The location was pretty much the only thing that counted in Hotel Peninsular's favor. Unfortunately everything else was outdated. What was nice was that we could do a bag drop early the morning. By the time we arrived later that day to check in they had already taken our luggage to our room.
