On arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly, smiling girl who was very helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, modern and comfortable with a delightful outside sitting area set in the lush grounds of the Equestrian Centre. The choice at breakfast was very good and the food was eaten in a sunny glass conservatory. There was plenty of parking, (just up from the rooms and away from the road.) We highly recommend Vale De Ferreiros.

The property is exceptionally clean , across the whole house including the kitchen , private bathrooms and the one on the ground floor . The beds and pillows we found really comfortable and the room/house smelt really nice . It’s very nicely designed and decorated . The kitchen I think should be advertised much more because it is SOO good , one of the most well stocked , designed and usable kitchens I’ve stayed at , which makes me think it needs to be advertised more . The dining room is very nice and has a television , actually nice coffee from the coffee machine and nice teas . Outside is beautiful and the view is exceptional.

The apartment is a generous size and very clean and well-maintained. Even though it is in the center of town, it is very quiet. Good location. Would stay again.

Our stay here was like a dream. From the fairytale house, the garden with the statues and luxurious swimming pool, to us adopting a family of cats, what more can I say! A big thumbs up to the people that take care of this place and especially the lovely couple who took care of the cats and helped us look for them on a rainy morning and made a delicious breakfast.
Pedestrian friendly town center. Great views from an absolutely beautiful park by the castle. It's overlooked as a good tourist destination. A new museum has just opened that is definately worth seeing.

We arrived on a Sunday evening and our host kindly phoned round to find a restaurant open and book dinner for us. He organised a taxi to the airport for us the following day and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. Jose was very warm and welcoming and we thorough.ly enjoyed the time we spent there. Would highly recommend him and his lovely Quinta.

Abrantes train station is south of the river and quite far (3km?) from the centre, but some trains also stop at another station near the historic area. The centre is high up with attractive views towards the Tejo. Abrantes would probably be more visited except for all the competition from so many beautiful towns in Portugal.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Secure motorbiking inside electric gates within grounds of the property. Spacious lounge and kitchen area. Huge bedroom. Seating outside in garden area. Two very effective air conditioner units. Bathroom/wet room is large and very modern. Sensitive shower gel provided. Issue with WiFi quickly resolved. Bed very comfortable and bedroom dark and quiet so a good night's sleep. Easy to stroll into Abrantes in approximately 25 minutes. Use of main house too with communal kitchen and seating areas.
The staff were amazingly accommodating.
Everything was supposed to be closed down due to Covid, but they opened the kitchen for me, found me the best takeway open to get food at, let me check out late as I was sick, washed my clothes for me, even complimented my hair ;D
The building is also quite amazing for a hostel - view over countryside for miles, big terraces. When I saw Abrantes Castle's amazing view I thought 'yeah, nice, but I already saw this from the hostel'.
I couldn't recommend the place more...

Beautiful. A former minor palace, in the process of being restored, offers a glimpse into the history of Abrantes and Portugal. The owner has done an excellent job of preserving the feel of a minor palace, while providing guests with a very comfortable place to stay. This was one of our favorite places on our trip. Very helpful reception, good internet, good kitchen, great location.
Our 4th stay here. Abrantes is not blessed with accommodation options and this is one of the best and great value for money. The location is about a central as you can get. Might be tricky for parking but for those on public transport it's smack in the middle of the historic centre... although be warned, public transport in Abrantes is a bit challenging.
We love everything about this hotel.
When visiting our family that lives nearby, Luna Hotel is the place we always want to stay at .
Abrantes is a beautiful city and this hotel is the “cherry on top of the cake”.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and I'm always so happy with how well the stay is. The rooms are clean, the staff is extremely helpful and kind, and the location can't be beat. See you next time!
Must have for lovers of basic accommodations.
The property is perfectly filling the gap between 'bed in the dorm room' and expensive hotels.
Great place to make a stop and think about your life!
It was a wonderful overnight stay for our family. Very friendly staff, overall cleanliness, great view of the river. If we are in Abrantes again, we will definitely book the same place again.
Great location in the historic centre of Abrantes. Sympathetically restored town house with a well equipped shared kitchen and lovely outdoor space. Generous sized room with private bathroom.
Such a beautiful place!super new super clean-close to Abrantes old center
I had the best sleep
extremely kind and generous host-he also shipped me something i had forgotten there
The hotel is like a little Castle. silent property around. stepping out of the room one can sit under the trees, enjoy a drink and feel being anywhere in a different world
