We have used this hotel wit my family already couple of time and never disappointed. My son likes the water park which is just next door and you walk there from your room in bathrobe. the city centre is near by and the restaurant in the hotel is also excellent. Sure we will be back!

Zakopane for sure is very nice place to stay and enjoy all kind of attractions. As my aim was hiking and not city sightseeing, can tell only about mountains. Trails are excellent to walk, lots of variable routes of any length and difficulty. In September trails were less packed with hikers, at some point for an half hour I was on the trail all alone with nature. That was awesome. If you want to escape form people seems this is the right time of the year to enjoy solitude in mountains.

Traveling in September definitely has an advantage that there are less tourist in the area making the Zakopane town its self a pleasure to wander through the not packed tourist streets.
Plus traveling in September allowed to avoid waiting in lines to take the cable car to the top of the mountain and or experience other attractions in the area.
Also September’s temperature was cooler so made hiking. A bit more relaxing.
However September is one of the rainier year months making it a good practice to always carry an umbrella.
Also, the rainy weather conditions also created a bit of a mist which limited some of the surrounding views, but on the other hand, offered some unique photographs with clouds beneath you from the mountain

It's the best base for exploring the Tatra mountains, the food was delicious and the accommodation really nice. On the downside we visited in July when the town in extremely full, like all of Poland had come there. There were crowds of people, huge traffic jams, no parking spots.

Weekend was super crowded. we went up the cable car and the upper area was also super crowded. Was impossible to find space in restaurants and is very hard to make reservations.
Weekdays were less crowded.
There is not much to do besides going up and down the main street or back in forth in the upper part of the cable.

Please re-consider going to Morskie Oki. Great destination, but horrible walk, especially for families. Basically the walk is 8 km along an asphalted road (and the same way back), which is not very saturated with great sceneries. There are too many people walking along during seasonality, the walk is all the time interrupted by horse carriages.

If you like nature /scenery be sure to take the cable car ride. A bit pricy but well worth the experience. Visiting the market close to the funicular is a great place to find authentic local souvenirs like wood crafts, sheepskins, and local farm cheeses, etc. Additional tip: If possible ride the train all the way in to Zakopane. During the daylight hours the scenic ride is amazing!
A very traditional Polish mountain house set on the main road into Zakopane but we still needed a car. Very comfortable beds for 5 but the one of sofa beds was very small indeed for two people. Very clean and easy to arrive and depart, with plenty of car parking. A small Carrefore express only 500 meters away. The skiing areas were a drive away and we were unfortunate with the lack of snow fall so we had to drive further to Bialka resort. The thermal baths were fantastic at the Aquapark.
Beautifully located - you can get out of hotel and start hiking immediately. At the same time center of Zakopane is not that far. Rooms were nice, very clean. Tasty breakfast, with variety of food and everyday they served something different. The little pancakes made with kefir were absolutely delicious!
Super nice that sauna is available; everyday pass ito Termy Zakopiańskie was just superb. Great hotel!
Location was good - very close to the Gubalowka and Zakopane center.
Hotel provides extremely great continental breakfast including traditional food as cottage cheese, smocked cheese and local salats. We have also enjoyed spa (2 saunas and the salt room) + fitness facilities + a room for kids.
The apartment was clean and spacious with fully equipped kitchen and a big bath.
Everything was great! The hotel is super stylish and we've enjoyed so much our stay there! This is the best place in Zakopane we've ever stayed so far.
We especially liked the jacuzzi and the SPA zone in general, it was just perfect.
Perfect stay! Staff, rooms, breakfast, location and overall atmosphere were brilliant. Free entry to the spa, paid parking outside or in the garage. When I'm in Zakopane again, I'll definitely stay in this hotel.
