Perfect stopover travelling to Germany. Grounds of the palace are superb, enchanted wood to walk through skirting fields of blue linseed, small pond running through. A small lake & seating in the sun in the grounds. Excellent for dogs & family as well as business travellers like us. Outside kiddies play area in sand, hammocks, outdoor bbq stand next to the lake. A giant oak tree a sight to see...
Restuarant a delight, bfast plentiful, good choice set in a beautiful old, high ceiling, stately room. Overall stay highly recommended.
I have to give the staff of the restuarant a particular merit. The food & service was really excellent, local produce. I tried the duck fillets, my wife the stuffed chicken.
