A beautiful historic town with a town square where many live events takes place, museums reflecting the rich history, skating rings and bawling ( please, just don’t eat there 😅), lakes, forests, horse riding facilities all 10 minutes drive away. Most importantly the town is located less than an hour away from the airport!

My Prussian family moved from the extreme northeast of this county now Poland to this city before they migrated to America. The little Hamlet of Kurki was Kukau that they left. We do not understand why none of out surname are in the country anymore, however it might be connected to Hitler's headquarters I viewed here. The Wkra hotel was a great place to stay.
Very good location of the hotel, large car park right next to the hotel, friendly staff. I liked the bottle of water for the journey on departure (very nice habit). Breakfast was more modest, but perfectly sufficient. This hotel is suitable for business trips.
