Moorea Island Beach Hotel, hotel in Moorea

Located in Moorea, 600 metres from Tiahura Beach, Moorea Island Beach Hotel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Amazing location!! Property overlooks sunset and is within walking distance to a number of places to eat and a corner store for basic groceries. Bungalows are roomy and comfortable with a small fridge for storage and a couch. Electrical sockets are right next to the beds which is convenient. There are free bicycles and kayaks to use and a communal kitchen with individual bar fridges for each bungalow to store their food. Coffee pod machine was free to use. Arrived on the first ferry and staff were kind enough to show me around the property while waiting and made the effort to clean and turn around my room early so I was able to get in around 10am. They also recommended a transfer service which met me off the ferry. Price seemed comparable to what I've seen taxis would cost. Would definitely recommend.

Fare HONU Cook’s Bay Moorea, hotel in Moorea

A recently renovated villa set in Moorea, Fare HONU Cook’s Bay Moorea features an open-air bath. This villa features a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking.

The house is really lovely. Really nicely designed and spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is a real highlight. Kitchen has all you need and the living space is “indoor/outdoor” which is great. Free filtered water on tap. Great fire/bbq outside. A big inflatable pool which takes up the whole garden unfortunately but good if you have kids I guess.

Fare Oaoa Haapiti, hotel in Moorea

A little paradise in Moorea. We had amazing time staying there. Loved our little bungalow. Beautiful sunset! The garden/beach are also nice! Kayaks are provided for free and the kayaking at the sunset is very picturesque. They have super friendly dogs. The host is so welcoming and pleasant, you will feel at home! There is pretty good pizza just across the street and big supermarket. You can also order local takeaway. Very convenient!

The Island is a crown and the people are the jewels therein! Love that place. There’s lots to do or not do. People are laid back and welcoming. The kayak rental at Tapanier beach allowed me to mingle with the sharks and rays and paddle over to Coco Island for a great lunch. Albert and. Miti tours offer fun exploration of the lagoon and introduction to Polynesian customs and food. Dinner at Rudy’s was the best! Getting around the island requires a car or scooter rental because there is no public transportation and taxis are overpriced.

The common area is perfect for socializing and spending time with friends. It has fridges and tea and coffee facilities for guests' use. It opens up onto the beautiful lagoon. You will love going for a dip in the sea and then lounging on the sun beds that are there. There are quite a few restaurants close by. One can be accessed by a short walk on the beach.

I totally enjoyed the Lagoon tour, swimming with the stingrays and sharks, also the Tiki show and dinner. For ease of getting around a rental car would probably be best, but based on one's location, walking is ok.

This was such an incredible stay and was beyond anything we expected! First off, the owner Jing is so lovely and was a gracious host. The house was super clean and well taken care of with all the comforts of home. The bed and linens were so soft and cozy. She made the house feel special for the holidays and had fresh fruits, bread, butter, coffee, milk and tea at our arrival. Jing has made her property it's own oasis with all different kinds of fruit trees and flowers. You literally have access to the kayaks and paddleboards anytime and there are enough for all the guests. An absolute must, it would cost a fortune to rent kayaks all day everyday! We used them everyday and kayaked the bays with rays and had the freedom to explore all the different snorkeling spots and beaches. The pool is epic and its a great spot to have cocktails and chill. It's so fun to watch all the fish and little black tip sharks swim by while your playing in the pool. The location is beautiful and we were glad to be so close to Opunohu Bay. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at Lagoon Dreams you will be so happy you did!

Moorea was our favorite island by far!

Moorea was our favorite island by far! Just the right balance of restaurants and places to shop for souvenirs. The island offers everything from hiking to biking to outstanding view points! Prior to coming to Moorea we had visited Bora Bora. Huahine, Raiatea, Maupiti amd Tikehau and we will definitely visit Moorea again!

Absolutely beautiful island but the only way we could spend two weeks there is because we scuba dive and we did that a lot. I think 7ish or so days would be about right in Moorea if you don't Scuba. You could spend more time in French Polynesia though, island hop and then you could spend 2-3 weeks in the area. We dived, did a horse ride, snorkelled a lot, you can do hikes in the early mornings, we did a jetski tour that was an absolute highlight. Great place for a couple's getaway. Would be good with slighly older kids. Toddlers or very young children might be a handful unless you stay in one of the resorts. Also it is expensive. As expensive or sometimes more so than Australia. Eating out, grocery shopping and cocktails started to add up fast.
