This was the perfect place to stay near the Tahiti airport before catching our midnight flight back to the U.S. We needed a place to relax and chill after our early arrival from Bora Bora rather than hanging out at the non-air conditioned airport for hours. Communication with Tahia prior to arrival was easy, and she and her husband, Raimiti, were both so kind and made us feel so comfortable. The room was clean and quiet with a modern decor and excellent wi-fi. We highly recommend this wonderful place for those needing accommodations near the airport.

We were in and out twice at both ends of our vacation - going to and from the airport which was good and close. Tania provided us with very clear instructions for getting to our accomodation and made it very easy to get to bed after a long flight that landed late at night. She also organised us a taxi for our (very) early morning departures to the airport, so everything went very smoothly

In the rush i forgot to ask for her name :(, but this lady who is taking care of the studio, was so kind that she picked me up at the airport after check in time and prepared the studio for me. Faaa itself is OK. It's the Royal room in the hills tgat was problematic.The room is not really as described. Seems it's run by someone else than the owner, possibly absentee house owner. Many people come and go from the Royal. One group came for a visit and occupied the terrace. They were polite and quiet but smoked, so no joining for us. The house cleaness is questionable and it appears there is more lodgers than the one the who sleep in the loft. Living room dingy with curtains closed and sofa. Underfurnished. The bedding feels cheap and polyester-like. Parking is a total headache on a narrow ledge. Finally someone came to move own car but with another motorcycle in the small place that was hardly useful. Dog poo was there, easy to step in. It's close to airport but there are nicer places to stay than here. Valley location was nice. Otherwise do not recommend this place. As to airport facility, it was easy to park a car at longterm to jump to another island for 2 days.

Faaa is the gateway to French Polynesia. It is a beautiful city capturing the culture of Tahiti. I visited several markets while there and was impressed by the local pearl, oils for the skin and fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Tahiti! Thank you from Canada!

Many mosquitoes in Tahiti…bring repellent! The hosts have mosquito repellent coils lit in the open common area and it helps. A small main gathering area for breakfast, share use of regular size fridge for leftovers, grocery store food, etc. A water machine to refill your own water bottle, coffee maker, hot tea pitcher, microwave, stove, etc all in common area & shared if you’d like to cook own meals. It’s very clean in the area. Also, a washer is available for use for your clothes & hang dry. The hosts are very kind and accommodating.

The hotel is beautiful, but you can walk anywhere, as the menus are very limited, you’ll get bored of it very quickly.
If you want a restaurant outside the hotel, you need to take a taxi, which can get expensive.

The husband and wife hosts at this house are wonderful. They were incredibly kind to me when I was stranded in Tahiti due to unseasonal flooding which closed the airport in New Zealand. I was stuck in Papeete for 4 days and they could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Shout out to resident 'Thierry' also for speaking Spanish with me. I should have learned French before getting stuck here!
Every little touch in this hotel was beautiful and done with thoughtfulness, from the lei greeting upon arrival and the personal airport pickup to the platter of fruit, welcome drink and comfortable room and grounds. Riva and Theirry, the owners, are the type of people who give hope for humanity and I can’t imagine a better place to start a vacation far from home.
We're very grateful that we could spend our last day in Tahiti with Eva and her family. The house is very nice, well equipped, everything is clean. We enjoyed a lot sleeping on the balcony, which looks down to a nice valley. Eva and her husband picked us up from the airport, and even offered us transport very early in the morning, when we had to catch our plane.
It’s a cute chalet nestled away from the Main Street not far from the airport. The access is at the end of the road and and so it’s quiet and private. The host was very amicable, accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and beautiful, with all the amenities needed. Very comfortable bed.
