The location was remote enough to enjoy nature and the views, but within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bus stops, and the grocery store. The facilities were stocked with everything one could need on a trip away from home. The hospitality was extremely friendly, helpful with a bike rental and directions, and accommodating when I wanted to extend my stay.

This is one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. The facilities were beautiful (we were in Aito cabin and it was one of the more basic ones comparatively and it was still mindblowly beautiful!!!). The views were amazing, great shower and comfortable beds with the perfect balance of simple of luxurious. It rained during our stay for at least half of it and it honestly didn’t matter.
We also thought the wifi was good in the hut and it was nice to disconnect at other times and the food was honestly unbelievable. I couldn’t believe some reviews say just okay. Yep, it’s expensive but food is very expensive in French Polynesia. The service was amazing - especially for two non French/Tahitian speakers, they were so kind and accomodating.
The value for money overall was incredible, this was the cheapest place of our stay and perhaps the best. Don’t second guess at all, just book.
