The hotel is two minutes from the main square with all the nice restaurants and bars just around the corner. Rooms are quiet and the best thing in this hotel for me was the rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served with a view over the cities and where you can close your day quite nicely.

It's a nice city but not as amazing as others in Peru.
It's a nice city but not as amazing as others in Peru. Plenty to do if you're young and adventurous, and some good attractions nearby including the town of Llamas and its Castle and several waterfalls. A lot of excellent restaurants and the "Plaza de Armas" (town square) is brand new and very impressive. The city is noisy, however, and the roads are a mess. Lots of stray dogs, also, which is a problem all over Peru. (Watch out for poop on the sidewalks!)

Tarapoto and the surrounding areas have some interesting attractions including a number of waterfalls and also the Castle in Lamas. Good starting point for a visit to the Peru Selva. Traveled from Tarapoto to Laguna Azul in Sauce which is very nice
It's really an amazing place because of the Host ! Sandra, Mercedes, and all the family are amazing, super nice, helpful, interesting. You feel at home from the beginning.
It's a nice place to stay, chill, and visit around if you want. The room was nice with a private bathroom and AC.
You also have rooftop to chill and a big swimming pool.
They prepare a really nice breakfast (the last day, Sandra did our breakfast a 6.30 am before our leaving)
I definitely recommend this place!!

I rarely give 10 out of 10 especially in Perú but the hosts have made a very good hotel. The rooms are nice, bright, spacious, clean and well furnished. You can use the kitchen which is well equipped and clean. Finally the garden is like a little paradise and the price is beyond reasonable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tarapoto.
Jorge and Celmita are the best hosts ever! They are warm, welcoming, and treat you as part of their family. They helped with so many things and I felt so welcomed. I’d recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Tarapoto at a nice hotel full of nature, at great location with amazing hosts. Thanks :)
Loved my stay! Perfect for a solo traveler. Had an outdoors space which was locked and felt very safe. Was nice to sit on the roof and see the city without leaving the hostel. Would definitely recommend to solo travelers who don’t want to be holed up in a small room and want some more space.
Staff were incredibly nice and helpfull and some of the best in over a year traveling in South America . Pool and the hamocks surrounding it were the perfect places to relax after lots of travel and enjoy a few beers and the rooms were very clean comfy and modern.
The hotel is clean and near to the airport. They have an elevator to the fifth floor and air conditioner in the room. The breakfast was a buffet, the best one ever. They have a lot of options to chose ( I personally recommend the salchipapas, very delicious).
Beautiful place with amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and had such great energy. The rooms were also amazing! They saved our trip during the protests and riots that had complicated our whole vacation. We found peace and relaxation in Tarapoto.

The love with which I was received at the airport and everything after, from the nice room, beautiful terrace view, hot showers and talks with the hotel staff, this place was like a home away from home.
Very nice location in nature and lovely hosts. We also liked the cats and dogs they have. If you want to get out of loud and busy Tarapoto and sleep in the almost as loud jungle, this is the place.
