Okay for spending the first night of the Salkantay Trek. The location is great with spectacular views of the mountains. Dinner and breakfast were good and hearty! They also prepare sandwiches to go if you are doing the trek.

We didn’t like the hotel. Breakfast was poor, accommodation badly maintained, especially the spa, staff not attentive. Windows cannot be opened due to mosquitoes. Not clean.

Great location with a lovely view, you literally step outside the hotel to join the Machu Picchu bus queue. The decorated bed with towel swans were a nice touch, as was the heater in the room, as it was cold at night.
We were also given a great takeaway breakfast (rolls, snacks, fruit, drink) which was perfect for our very early start.
