The room was spacious and nice. Big bathroom. Staff were friendly. Loveled to view to the massive sand dune behind the hotel. It felt I was the only person in the hotel. Hardly saw anyone. Which means is was quiet as well which I liked.

The property itself is very nice and idyllic. Also in the evening the mood is very nice while sitting in the garden. There is plenty of space to relax and to have privacy from other guests. Everything was clean and everyone was super friendly. The pool area was nice and we spent quite some time there.

It is a very calm town almost everything will close around 11 pm on weekdays.. heard it gets crazy on the weekends. Enjoyed so much our time there.

Great place for a little roadtrip! The Huacachina Oasis is just one of the best places I have ever visited. It is a very small place to relax, do a dune buggy tour with sandboarding and then going to the Islas Ballestas to take a boat tour. It was great!

Huacachina is a beautiful place (especially looking over the desert), we stayed 2 nights and managed to book several excursions in the 3 days we spent there. We also managed to visit Paracas with an excursion booked from the hotel.

Ica is lovely!
Ica is lovely! A small oasis in the middle of a sandy desert. Very peaceful.A ton of restaurants and bars. Must go on the sand buggy ride which I would highly recommend, the drivers are nuts! The more we laughed, the more the driver would drive off on to yet another challenging sand dune. Fun! Definitely try out Sand boarding. It does seem scary but is easy to get hooked on.

I like this little city, or large pueblo, however you want to look at it. Compared to all the other towns along the coast this is probably the cleanest and nicest to visit (not counting Lima because it's sooooo much bigger). And I've visited more than 20 towns in Peru.

Ica or better Huacachina is a great place to be!
Ica or better Huacachina is a great place to be! It was awesome to see the town in the middle of the sand dunes. I also did the sandboarding trip which I liked a lot. However, I was not interested in the other possible trips (trip to the Islands, Pisco Sour and Wine tasting tour, or Canyon tour), so that one day would have been perfectly enough for me. However, I don't know how to better plan it with the buses, so I think 1 night stay is a must and you can only take the next bus in the next evening.
The hotel was very beautiful, nice decoration and good rooms, big enough and good things like fridge and fan. The host is a very nice person, you can ask him anything and he will help you of course. The location is so good, there is a Plaza Vea, Falabella, Ripley, etc, at just 2 minutes of walking in front and next to the street. Is so quiet at the time to sleep even when there's a road so close, so you don't have to worry about it. I'll definitely go to that Hotel if I go to Ica again.
I highly recommend Hospedaje Claudia for anybody wants to stay near the oasis but not with the party scene. This hostel is ultra clean, comfortable and felt very safe. The hosts are super helpful and accommodating. They arranged my sunset dune buggy ride, which was SO FUN!!! Like a roller coaster ride in the middle of a Lawrence of Arabia scene!! I highly recommend the dune buggy ride ! The rooftop breakfast was the best breakfast in Peru so far. It was a perfect stay for me.
Bedroom suite was stunning, massive comfy bed, big TV, desk and chair. Spacious bathroom. Outdoor private balcony space was very spacious with two sofas and a table.
Staff were very friendly and had great communication on WhatsApp when I requested information about the tours they offered prior to my stay.

Superb value for money
The place looks very nice, it has its own atmosphere, you feel a little like you are in the jungle. There are a lot of cool things hanging around for relaxing. We liked the style of the room. The hot water was present, the room was clean enough. There is a bar, you can hang out at. It was not loud. Nobody really partied until late at the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful!
This place has a fabulous restaurant and good coffee in the morning. Most of the rooms are hostel style with shared bathrooms. We had a separate room with its own bathroom. It was very basic

There was some very good art on the walls. ( some very bad art, too!)
The breakfast was better than we thought. The eggs and fruit juices were very fresh. The aesthetic of the hotel is detailed and very nice. The staff was very friendly, easy to talk with and willing to help. The rooms do have AC making the stay more comfortable for us. We are glad we stayed here.

I don’t know why so many bad comments, but it was a grate hotel in good location. Nice swimming pool area, rooms clean and comfy. Good Wi-Fi. Yes there was mosquitoes by the pool, but they provide a spray from them.

Our favourite hostel in all of Peru. Great pool, great food, great staff. Such a relaxing environment we extended our stay just to hang at the hostel (not much going on in Huacachina once you’ve done a sand dunes tour). Would happily stay again!
Great location very near the water. We had a 3rd floor room that gave us a great view. Breakfast was cook to order eggs, fruit, juice , coffee bread, etc. Above average breakfast for our trip to Peru. Very helpful and friendly staff.
I was surprised about the beauty of the backyard, given the hotels central location, it was quiet and peaceful, to sit and simply enjoy the green. The breakfast is simple but tasty, the room spacious and perfectly clean.
A pleasant hotel in the heart of the oasis. Room with air conditioning, hairdryer, very comfortable bed. Music in the evening/night (till cca 1am), but earplugs helps to sleep. I recommend the hotel.
The hostel is located in a relatively safe area, but just anywhere in Peru, watch for pickpocketers. Few minutes from Ica terminal and the owner offers a pick up as a service. Staff are nice people.
