I loved the breakfast that was included with the stay. I liked that there was a gym. The staff was very accommodating, they were excellent. The WIFI was excellent.

Staff were great, and really were vested in making sure you had everything needed. Room was bright and cozy. David is not a place for tourists really, but we were forced to stay due to road closures and unrest.

David is only good for a few stores to shop at if you own a home and need supplies. The city is dirt and the sidewalks are a joke. Watch your step everywhere or break and ankle. There is no night life and very few restaurants that I would even call somewhat edible places to go.

The city of David offers many things, beaches, temperate climate, ecotourism, it definitely has a variety for all tastes.
It was excellent, and I will return in the future.

Hot and busy. Not much to see. Interesting place.
Hot and busy. Not much to see. Interesting place. Shopping about only activity, and most shops selling non-Panamanian items, but at a very low price. Many places to eat. People are friendly. I felt very safe walking alone throughout the city at all hours. Taxis are everywhere and inexpensive if walking isn’t your thing. I could have used better Spanish skills, but with patience and humility and effort I achieved every goal.

David as a small town is ok. What we need can be found. Besides is close to beautiful beaches and highlands, with gorgeous views, exuberant forests, and awesome cascades, rivers, etc.
Highlands, beaches peruvian food, is awesome. Is easy town to run all over. I will totally avoid to be in that hostal Bambu or any other place runner for that black guy. His attitude was totally insulting.

We love visiting David, we have family there so it is always nice to see them. David itself, has some great restaurants, close to Boquette, which we love and visit while up there. The restaurants El Rincon Espaniol was wonderful, the paella, awesome. The Angus House, exceptional, ask for the Lebanese sauce on your meat, unbelievable. Not as much traffic as Panama City, where we are from.
This is a normal, standard business hotel with the usual amenities. Breakfast was a good combination of continental, American and Panamanian items. The rooms were fine. Parking was scarce when we came, so we had to park behind some other cars, left our keys at the reception and when more space was available, they parked the car well and returned the keys to us. Although this was a minor inconvenience, it was an issue only once and the reception found a good solution.
As a 79-year-old man who has traveled three continents, I rate Acogedora vivienda anexa excellent. I was looking for a clean, quiet, affordable, hospitable venue and Acogedora filled all those aspirations superbly. Acogedora's spaces show a very high level of attention to detail by management. Hostess Yolanda is friendly and accommodating. When I return to David, Acogedora will be my first choice for booking.

We went together to a feria, which was great. Got some fruit on arrival and breakfast with juice. Very kind. The owner seems to have a natural talent for hospitality :)

I have stayed here several times before and did again because I think it's the best spot in David. The staff is friendly. The rooms are small and cozy, no bigger than what you need. There are a couple of rooms with fans instead of air conditioning - if you love fans and hate air conditioning, this is the place for you. Peaceful common area to relax and catch up on email.
The staff was really helpful at this hotel. I wasn't expecting them to speak English, but the lady who checked me in was fluent. It was excellent to get a private, lockable room. I was very impressed that they changed my sheets and towels while I was out, I wouldn't expect that on just a two-night stay. Nice kitchen and dining area, it has the feeling of home.
The house is beautiful and the room was modern and comfortable. The bed was the perfect size and very comfortable. Our hosts where very friendly and helpful. We had our 2 small dogs with us and they where also well received. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and will rebook the next time we come to David.
Very clean and welcoming... i had my dog with me and they only charged a small fee for him.. A quiet area compared to the hotels in the centro and still close to restuarants and shopping. This is an excellent hotel with great pricing.. it will be my new goto spot when im on the mainland.
Everything is near the hotel, park ! Very nice on this season, farmacy, barbers, church, bakery any kind of store from dollar like in US to fondas whom we call it here in panama 🇵🇦 Food from around very accesible.Gym, Banks, hotels and Wendy’s I mean u named.
The location of the hotel is nice because it is centrally located. The room was clean and it was a nice size. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. For a place to stay for one night it was fair, but honestly for the price I expected much more.
Everyone at this hotel was friendly. The room was very comfortable including the bed and the pillows. The public areas of the hotel were clean .We had a very quiet room with great a/c. The breakfast was adequate. Great value for the price.
Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and it was very good - spacious, huge and very comfortable bed. The secure parking was free, the breakfast was very good and we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant which was also very good.
The hotel was very clean. I appreciated that. The room was big enough, and so was the bathroom. The location is good. It is not in the middle of town, but still within walking distance of the hustle and bustle.

Good place to stay. Quite easy to go from here to boquete, only 40-50 min by bus so definitely duable as a daytrip. Also the restaurants around this place are really cheap.
