Loved how clean and quiet the environment was. Loved the blackout curtains and the comfy bed.
Also loved how close it was to the supermarket and a great homely restaurant. literally walking distance without a sweat.

Very quaintly decorated with an excellent host. Julie turned the electric blankets on for us and had the heater in our room going. Continental breakfast was excellent according to the menu we chose. Best bathroom towels I have ever used. Great ensuite and shower. Nice gardens and dining facilities.

I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

Rangiora has boutique shops, pharmacy, banks, lots of grocery options. Petrol stations for gas, diesel, lpg. Town of 20,000 means all amenities. Pool for family, River for dogs or family.
Sea close by for a swim or sunbathe, sunscreen needed.
Mt Grey or Thomas for walks.
Perfect local getaway. Quiet, relaxing and all the amenities you need for a weekend away. Prefer to keep to ourselves in which privacy was one hundred percent provided. Wish the weather was cold enough to turn the fire on but wasn't needed which makes a good enough reason to go back in the colder months! Two toilets, comfortable bed and sofa, cooking facilities were great - top of the line oven 😍 Rangiora 5min up the road. Definitely recommend. Thank you!
Modern clean accommodation with lovely rural north facing aspect which receives morning sun. Accommodation has lovely kitchenette, large bathroom, nice seating area to read or watch TV and a seating area outside. Extra touches include books and magazines. A few kms out of Rangiora and perfect if you want a quiet rural retreat.
Friendly staff. And, I know it seems a simple request they had decent coffee sachets. previous stays around south Island had crap coffee. Breakfast was excellent in quality and value.
Hotel next door had great meals.
- Spacious accommodation near the excellent Plough Hotel
- Hardworking, friendly management
- Immaculately clean rooms
- Plenty of off street parking
- Excellent value
