The food was well prepared and portions were generous and there was a good choice of food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful/. the room had A/c which we were not expecting. It was clean and very comfortable with a good clean bathroom.
The trips from the guest house to see the wildlife were really good and we saw a lot of birds and animals but will have to come back again to see a tiger

It’s a family run business and the owner Rajan (Former Wildlife Guide for Prince Harry and Hilary Clinton) and his brother in law Mahindra have given me the best possible experience in the jungle (both have over 30 years of experience)! Both are the loveliest/friendliest people you’ll ever meet! Rajan’s spoken english is excellent! I did two walking tours and one Jeep safari, both were one in a lifetime experiences. I always felt safe and properly guided. The rooms in the Lodge are beautiful and spacious. The shower has great pressure and was always hot! After a long day in the jungle the fireplace in the reception hall was already crackling and I got welcomed back with a hot tea or cold beer! All the meals are homemade by Rajan‘s wife and were always delicious! 10/10 stars, I highly recommend staying at Mango Tree Lodge!

The staff at Jungle Heaven were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, with the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. I loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle and taking in the breathtaking views from my cottage.
The best part of my stay was the unforgettable wildlife safari. I got to see elephants, rhinos, and even a majestic Bengal tiger in its natural habitat! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never forget.
The food at the hotel was also delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes to choose from. The on-site activities, such as nature walks and bird watching, kept me entertained and allowed me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the national park.
Overall, my time at Jungle Heaven Hotel and Cottage was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure-filled and unforgettable stay in Bardiya National Park. I can't wait to go back!

Lovely homestay with spacious airconned rooms - a necessity if you are coming in the summer! Family were all super lovely and went out of their way to help - Sharduls wife Anku even accompanied me to the nearest mall when I needed some clothes for the hot weather.
Everything is organised by the homestay including meals, safari, transport etc. Shardul was more than happy to help me plan my trip onwards too. Would recommend if you are visiting Bardia.
