Super scenic spot and and excellent staff. We stayed in the motel rooms. They’re not tremendously expensive, but also not very high end 😀. Beds were good though!

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the Fjord. The view from the restaurant is truly spectacular. We didn't eat our evening meal here but the breakfast experience was first-class. Even if you are pushed for time make an hour available to sit and enjoy the outdoor heated pool....it is wonderful. The entire ambience of the hotel is welcoming and the reception are more than obliging. Also take some time to check out the Car museum in the basement, it's a living history lesson of the hotel's past

What a superb hotel and stunning location. The hotel is very cosy, with a authentic Norwegion interior and fantastic view from our hotelroom. Beautiful rooms, restaurant and the bar was so homely with sofa’s, armchairs and a library. We felt like distinguished travellers from early 20th century. It even made us leave our mobile phones in the hotelroom. The lady at the reception was very friendly and we had a nice chat with her. She completed the homely feel! We regretted staying for just one night and will absolutely stay here again in the near future. We travel a lot but this was the most cosy hotel we have ever stayed in!
