This was a one night stay on our road trip. The host messaged with photo on where to find his house. He came and greeted us while we figured the exact location of his guest apartment. The apartment is detached from his home, recently built, and very comfortably and well appointed. He showed us the place, TURNED ON THE AIR CONDITIONER so the apartment would be comfortable for us when we arrived!! This was so thoughtful; no one had done that in all our vocation stays. The view was breathtaking!

This place was amazing! The apartments was comfortable, clean and beautiful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed playing with the puppies and had a wonderful time on the puppy hike in the morning. 10/10!

Brimibue is fresh and modern. I also like the old style but it was very nice to be somewhere modern and clean. The bathroom was spacious and updated. I would suggest splurging for the dinner. It was a highlight of our tour of Norway. The food was excellent and beautifully and thoughtfully prepared. Each course was explained as it was presented. They accommodated one in our party who was vegan with tasty and interesting dishes. It is located right in the heart of Lom and you can easy walk to the shops and the stave church.
