Extremely kind and helpful host family. Brilliant breakfast. The house is on top of a very charming village and the view is breathtaking. Unfortunately we had only 1 night here. Would have loved to stay longer!

Dating back to 1890, this mountain lodge is in Høvringen Village, just 1 km from Rondane National Park. It offers free Wi-Fi, gym access and traditional homemade cuisine.
Big spacious room with good basic amenities. Interior of hotel and room looks new although the building may not. Appreciate the heated toilets at all Thon hotels we stayed. Sufficient and nice breakfast spread as well. Liked that the parking is free for guests as it is not the case with many hotels in Norway.
Liked the staff, the rooms, the food was excellent but the choice for dinner was limited. Breakfast was full of choice and there were many hot dishes and a great variety of foods.
If this hotel is the standard offered by Thon I would have no hesitation booking again.
The room was spacious. The breakfast buffet was good though less good than in other Thon hotels that we stayed in. The location is good to explore the nearby nature. Free parking.
