For over 100 years, Arctic Hotel Nordkapp, by the old name HAVLY, has been a safe haven for visitors and fishermen to Honningsvåg.

Late, but it's coming. The review for my stay from the 19th to the 22nd. August 2024 at the Artic Hotel.
I received a very friendly welcome. The whole stay was wonderful.
The room with shower and toilet was large, spacious and modern. The cleaning went perfectly.
The breakfast room is large and has a special design. And the breakfast buffet...
Everything was there and it was more than enough.
For the dinner menue, the boss herself is in the kitchen of the restaurant. And what she delivers to the guests is excellent. I can't describe it any other way.
All in a welcoming and pleasant environment.
The service from Ruslanas, the waiter and bartender, was also very attentive and good, despite his youth.
Evelina, the boss, easily organized an transport to the starting point of my Nordkapp hike. Thank you again.
The stay was very pleasant and I can only recommend the Artic Hotel to everyone.

We stayed for a night on the way to Nordkapp, and we loved it. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom are nice and comfortable. It's a short drive to the center, where there are restaurants (it can be pretty long to walk). Breakfast is good. Coffee, tea, and snacks are always available in the common room - a nice touch.
Set by the harbour in central Honningsvåg, Scandic Bryggen offers free parking, free WiFi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. The North Cape Museum is a 10-minute walk away.

Very friendly helpful staff. Due to us taking an early ferry, we would have missed breakfast, but the staff organised a takeaway breakfast!

The location is great! I have lived in Northern Norway for a while but this was a breathtaking place to stay for a couple days.

Our stay at Nordkappferie was absolutely wonderful. The house is incredibly charming, set in a fantastic location with spectacular views of the harbor. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The private terrace with a jacuzzi is a highlight, offering a perfect spot to unwind in a tranquil environment. The owners are very kind and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
No podríem haver demanat un lloc millor!
Can't really find any negatives for this place. The locals are very friendly, the streets are clean, the scenery is stunning and best of all its only about 35 minutes drive to Norkapp. If you are visiting we would 100% recommend booking a trip to Norkapp. Its a fascinating place...the top of Europe!!. We flew in, stayed 3 nights then departed on a fjord cruise. Well worth every penny. We decided to take a walk one morning, its obviously very hilly but not too taxing. Its about 5 miles to completely encircle the town though that did include a few detours for the sake of photos. There is a restaurant close to the Norkapp museum called The Corner. The food, welcome and service were second to none. Totally recommend it to any visitors. Well that's my opinion of Honningsvag, visit yourself and see what you think.

Everyone seems to be profiting from the proximity to Nordkapp, which lowers the overall experience of an otherwise nice town at the edge of Europe. Many cruise ships that dock in the port release heaps of tourists into the town every day, which makes it feel more like a centre of some large city, not a town of 2500 inhabitants.

The road to Honningsvåg is very picturesque in the winter days, especially if there is some light giving everything a bit more mystical glow.
Honningsvåg itself is very small, best to be avoided in the summer when hordes of tourist want to see the sun not set. I would think winter is so much more adventurous and therefore more awarding.
Hotel is located very close to North Cape (half an hour drive maybe) and to a small city of Honningsvag (maybe 10 min drive). Room was very basic but this is expected. Hotel is located at the far north after all. Breakfast was ok. Value for money was superior.
The camping is located on the way to Nordkapp.
The room was ok, clean, quite spacious and located
in the same building as the shared kitchen.
The kitchen was big with plenty of seats and clean.
Loved everything about this place.
The receptionist was more than helpful.
We'll be definitely be back in the high season and enjoy Honningsvåg a bit more.
