Scandic Valdres is in one of the prettiest locations in Norway, the beautiful town of Fagernes. The hotel is right on the lake, and you can walk all around the area via trails and foot-bridges. The room's balcony overlooked this beauty. The hotel itself is elegant and well-appointed, offering excellent food and a very comfortable stay.
Hotel was ideally placed for me, in a beautiful location.
Evening meal was excellent and breakfast was superb, with everything you could want.

Location good for Fagernes- we were only passing through to break up a long drive so didn’t have huge expectations. Room was ok. Nice to have heated floor in bathroom. Check in staff very helpful and friendly
