Our host was most welcoming and invited us to make use of the garden which we enjoyed. The room and bathroom were sparklingly clean, fresh and beautifully decorated. The room was extremely quiet as it overlooked the garden to the rear of the house on a very quiet road. A short distance out of Hoorn with easy access. Breakfast was delicious with a choice of eggs , fresh fruit, yoghurt and fresh fruit all beautifully presented. Wished we'd booked a longer stay.

Very comfortable and large hotel in the outskirts of Hoorn. Large room and great beds. The breakfast was delicious and lots of space in the morning restaurant. We could jog on paths just outside of the hotel.

Not a lot, it was not what we expected. Bed was comfy but the the restored workman's hut looked tired, the windows were filthy and smelled damp. No tea or coffee or welcome biscuits.

We loved the property, we were a little frustrated with the lady (member of staff) in the dining area who kept telling us we couldn’t sit at particular tables despite the fact we were hotel guests, she made us feel bad which is not what you expect from the staff. If she had been more accommodating we would have felt better, we ended up spending €300 so a little more patience would have gone down well. Apart from that the breakfast staff were great and we had an enjoyable stay.

Good WiFi Excellent location Fly screen on one opening window. Large room (deluxe) Quiet - only a little car noise at times. Good breakfast with hot and cold options. Good bike storage in locked room around the side of the hotel. Elevator to rooms. Good hot water in shower. Nice reception. Comfortable bed with 2 pillows each.

This is just a perfect hotel overlooking the harbour. The rooms are small like cruise ship cabins but very well designed and comfortable. The breakfast and service in the restaurant is excellent.
