The breakfast was really nice and the breakfast room was varied. The location, being really in the centre of the town was so nice. All restaurants were within 5 to 10 minutes walk.

The room was clean, we had two single beds and would have preferred one. When the windows were open there was a load of mosquitos, maybe something could be done in front of the window. The breakfast was basic but fresh.

Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker!
The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.
This was our second visit to Terschelling. So much to see and do! We already have a list started for our next visit. We loved biking (and trying out a tandem!). Next time we would like to see if the kids can catch any crabs and try taking a boat ride.
Several yummy take out options. This was great since restaurants closed across the country.

West Terschelling has a lot of beautiful places and a lot to do. You can go walking at the beach or on the dunes or in the forest. You can also go biking. There are a lot of good places to eat for small prices or more expensive. We had a great meal at Storm.The people are very friendly, Great nature there, The cranberries are great there.

The 2-bedroom apartment was a great size, clean, and comfortable. Hotel staff were very pleasant.and helpful. Location was great, bike rental and return was easy and we had a great time exploring some of the island. After checkout the hotel keep your luggage and transport it down to the ferry for you to pick up there - fantastic idea
The hotel is ideally located on the main square of West-Terschelling, where the tower is. It is also walking distance from the port, which is very convenient if you are coming by ferry without car as I did. You are right in the town centre very close to all shops and restaurants.
The breakfast was well arranged and plentiful. The hotel made a light meal available for us in the evening. The staff were very helpful and interested in answering questions. We requested a frig which was placed in our room.
Breakfast was good, location was easily reached by bike from the ferry terminal. Close to the town, and still next to the woods. Great hotel room with comfortable bed, bath and even a balcony with view of the woods.
