Super nice hosts and a beautiful place with everything you need. Lovely interior, comfortable and spacious. There's a terrace to enjoy the sun and the beautiful views of the garden and fields. There's a little kitchen if you want to use it - but we highly recommend the breakfast which was really amazing. We especially loved the art all around the house inside and outside and that our car had a private spot to be parked on.
Valkenswaard is a beautiful little town too!

The location was excellent and the place is quite unique. You really feel like you are staying at a restaurant or a café and it’s a fun experience. The staff was quite friendly and the room was clean.

The shower was phenomenal.
Big bed (although only 1 pillow was provided each- we did ask for more, but they were never provided)
Rooms were spacious.
Staff were lovely and helpful. Really friendly and welcoming.

Valkenswaard is a lovely town. We went there for the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Town in 1944 with the Market Garden Push.
We go to visit the grave of a relative.
Lots of good restaurants. Greek Restaurant Sirtaki was excellent.
Steak House Beer & Beefs, really good Steaks.
Very nice high street & shopping areas. Always beautiful flowers on display, & the people of the town are very friendly.
Bus service looks good, but I am told they do not take cash, only cards. No direct bus to airport.
No free Car Parking, so we longer hire a car when we are there.
But we also had difficulty getting a Taxi to the airport , so friends took us.
A very 'go with the flow' mentality and atmosphere make the stay very pleasant. The same goes for breakfast: just tell the staff what you like, and they prepare it for you. Normally, I don't appreciate hotel breakfasts because they are often overpriced for what you get. But at Brownies & Downies Valkenswaard, it is more than worth it. And to save the best for last - the energy and effort from all staff to give you a comfortable stay is incredible and heartwarming.

Location is close to the center of Valkenswaard and access to the Leenderbos. A shed to store your bicycle and to charge electric bicycles. You can park your car in the driveway.
