I stayed for a week with my two son's in a Superior Triple room. It was very clean, well equipped (Fridge, Safe, Iron & Ironing board, TV with Netflix, hairdryer, tea & coffee) and comfortable. The cleaner came in every day and our beds were changed on day three. The en-suite bathroom was large with a walk in shower, shampoo and shower gel and plenty of towels. The staff were very helpful throughout and extras could be requested at any time (More towels, toilet rolls, t-bags etc). The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide selection of foods available, both hot and cold, healthy and maybe not so healthy (Try out the waffle maker!). There's a small shop called Boon's Pit Stop, about one minutes walk from the Mercure where we bought snacks, freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh milk and there's a small food hall called Market 27 in the Metro Train station (About two minutes walk away). It has a varied selection of foods and all look good. We had amazing burgers and curly fries at Ez Smash. Travel into and back from the centre of Amsterdam is very easy with the Metro station being so close and we found the GVB app really useful for planning journeys and buying tickets.

Great location with staff that go above and beyond for their guests. We took a bus to the hotel and found that the location was convenient. The check-in process was smooth and we had a comfortable hotel room. Very quiet, clean and comfortable facilities. Would highly recommend. We will be staying here again in the future.

The position is incredible, the staff very clear and helpful, the design very very cool. We also had dinner at the restaurant in front of the sea, breakfast looking at the dawn. It is an incredible place, if I ever go back to Volendam I will stay there again for sure!!
Also, they offer free parking for bicycles in their garage.
Waking up every morning late, exausted after a sleepless...
Waking up every morning late, exausted after a sleepless night with moskito bites was terrible. The owners knows about the situation and do NOTHING! saying it is nature with nothing to do. As I told them nature is outside. Their role is to keep nature outside with moskito nets and traps, protecting their paying guests.
They failed and keep failing doing it. The walls are red from previous guests battle with tens of moskitos. They gave up trying to clean these stains. Never go to Europarcs. The woman in charge said she has no budget for buying moskito traps and that some of their houses owners refuse to install moskito nets. SO LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE AND LET ME DECIDE IF I AM WILLING TO WASTE MY SUMMER VACATIIN IN HELL!! She wouldnt give me her managers phone number to complain, and clearly would not do anything to help us. Many guests would meet every morning at the reception complaining after .a sleepless night. No empathy was shown
