The rooms were large with spacious en suite bathroom. Water was readily hot when using the shower.
View from second story provided site of nearby Oude Stadhuis (Town hall) with its varying playlist of tunes on the hour every hour between 6am and 9pm- some examples include The Entertainer, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Yesterday and even Yellow Submarine. If your awake after 10pm, they illuminate the tower which looks lovely out your hotel window.
Proximity to the olde Tholen town, Didn't have to walk too far to check out Windmills, the Tiny house, the Great Church or the nearby harbour. Loved the old door keys. Nice retro feel, than today's typical keycards at hotels.
Evening meal in hotel restaurant was delicious.

The hotel charged us double for the stay! Despite realising it immediately and talking to them when we were there and later, them promising us the money back. Nothing has happened. Booking.com also says they will return the money because we made the booking through them and have provided all the proof for the same but nothing has happened except long international calls!! Very very disappointing! It’s been a month!

Central city location and right across the main architectural city palace
Nice small 2-story house in the quaint center of the town of Tholen (city rights since the 1400s!), with a small private backyard. Despite its location in a corner of the central market square and less than 100m from a (recommended!) indoor-outdoor restaurant/pub, the location is very quiet. The helpful and friendly owner lives next door. Street parking is usually available in front of the property, a larger parking lot is two short blocks away.

Great little hotel, well located in the pretty town of Tholen and a few steps away from the picturesque harbour.
The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly and the room was bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We ate in the restaurant which was good quality, local food in a pleasant setting filled mostly with locals.
We would love to come back again.
The hotel, our superior suite we where in and surroundings were great. Spacious and clean. Check in went smooth and friendly staff . The breakfast is very well taken care off, a lot of choice. We enjoyed the wellness but we were alone, a bit small if more people are in the wellness and no real seating or relax area.
The Hotel Design and location is very nice and even during rainy autumn days it was very charming. We had the Deluxe Suite as we were travelling with two children. Room was spacious and very stylistic.
Playgrounds for kids in summer time close to the water looks very promising but for us it was too cold :)
Everything was good enough, the room was brand new and modern, the personal was friendly and helpfull. There are facility for coffee in the room and location is central. Good restaraunt on the ground floor of the hotel.
