I loved this place, super friendly welcome and the room was comfortable and had been beautifully laid out. Everything was perfect! There was just one issue, and I’m sure this is something that can be smoothed out as this was a pre opening stay: there were some roof windows with sensors in my room and they kept opening and closing all night long (so repeatedly opening and closing with some kind of inbuilt mechanism). This really disturbed my sleep!

Small town with authentic historical inner city and plenty...
Small town with authentic historical inner city and plenty of good restaurants and bars; great for a weekend trip to shop, eat and relax. Also a great place to use as a starting point to explore the area by bike or car as its located in between belgium and germany - and a gateway to the south of limburg.

The hotel is conveniently located on the corner of the town...
The hotel is conveniently located on the corner of the town square with many places to eat and drink. My stay was over the weekend and the square was very busy. Stayed in a Superior Double room for two nights over the weekend.
Upon arrival I was given a basic room rather than the superior double but when I brought this to the attention of the staff I was provided with the appropriate room on the ground floor of the hotel annex just behind the hotel on the side street which also had an enclosed patio.
Room was very nice with easy access to the street and quiet. Air condition worked very well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
All amenities listed were in place with the exeption of an iron or ironing. However I did not bring this to the attention of the staff. If I were to need one and requested, I'm sure one would have been made readily available.
Breakfast was very good and what one would expect for a European breakfast.
Parking was in a nearby underground parking garage (Oda Parking Garage). The best section for parking is section N which brings you out of the garage at the nearest point to the hotel. My parking spot was about 100 meters walking distance to the hotel. The hotel also offered to validate my parking.

Sittard is a one-square town.
Sittard is a one-square town. A nice enough square but nothing special.
The best thing in Sittard is Kafee de Kup - a laid-back, loved-by-locals pub about 200 yards from the main square. Run and frequented by the friendliest people you could wish to meet.
Comfortable stay in a lower budget place. If you consider that it's not going to be extravagant and just meets your basic needs then you will be fine. The single room is small but it has everything you need. It's kept clean and is ideal for a short stay.
Staff is very friendly, helpful and dedicated. The hotel is next to the theatre and within walking distance of the central station and the city centre as well as shops and restaurants.
