Really liked the staff working in the hotel. They are always extremely polite, ready to help and smiling day and night.
I really enjoyed finding the "Rituals" products (shower gel, soap and shampoo.) in the bathroom.

Scheveningen is a suburb of a large city and can be reached by tram. The beach area at the Kurhaus and pier is almost overcrowded with lots of fun sports such as a very high zip wire and Bunjeetower, Ferris wheel. The beach section at the spa house and pier is not recommended for tourists who are spoilt by the island and are looking for a peace and quiet journey.

We liked walking along the beach boardwalk, walking around town, and we did a few tram trips away such as den Hague and Leiden for the Naturalis centre. We walked along the pier and that was sort of interesting; we didn't ride the ferris wheel. Getting around town is easy walking or tram. We had one meal at an Indian restaurant that was not so good. Otherwise, we had groceries and ate in our room. I wouldn't suggest Oct. as it is not beach weather but for sure less tourists.

We loved every moment staying on The Pier.
We loved every moment staying on The Pier. The view was fantastic, the room was clean and comfortable and we loved the special touches such as wine and chocolats wating for us every day, breakfast included and the staff were extremely helpful. The Boulevarde was long and exciting with lots of cafes and eateries. and the tram was available behind the Kurhaus and it was easy to travel to the Hague and back. We loved it and recommend that everyone should stay there at least once.

Scheveningen or Den Haag is a insider tip for people, who want to travel to the Netherlands. It is less crowded then Amsterdam, but just as interesting. The royal family of the Netherlands has their palace there, so you can feel some royal spirit in the city center. Also the National Parlarment, Europol and the International Court of Justice are located in Den Haag.

Gorgeous sunsets and you can walk for miles along the beach.
Gorgeous sunsets and you can walk for miles along the beach. The water was warm and there was plenty of room to find a quiet spot. All of the restaurants had delicious food and a wide variety of menu and seating options. The town is lovely and it is very easy to get around. Just a short tram ride to Den Haag which is a beautiful city in and of itself.

The town itself is busy but somewhat spread out.
The town itself is busy but somewhat spread out. There are three main areas - the new area where most of the hotels and restaurants are, the old area including the shopping street of Keizerstraat which is handy for almost everything, including a wide choice of restaurants, and the harbour. All three are linked to the city centre of Den Haag by three tram routes - 1 and 9 from the new area, 1 from Keizerstraat and 11 from the harbour area at the other end of Keizerstraat. Between Scheveningen and Den Haag lie the Scheveningse Bosjes, an attractive wooded area perfect for country strolls. Nearby attractions include the International Court of Justice (Vredespaleis) (there is an interesting visitor centre but to visit the Court itself you have to book well in advance) reachable by tram 1, and the model village of Madurodam reachable by tram 9.
I always knew that it was a basic budget hotel and that was reflected in the comparatively low price compared to other hotels. There were limited previous reviews but they were generally bad and so I was forewarned. The bed linen was clean and the small bathroom was adequate with hot water for the shower, except on the last morning. The location was excellent for the centre of Scheveningen and beach. Free wifi that actually worked well.
The hotel was located close to the beach and the sea, just a short 5-minute walk away, and about 5 minutes by car to the center of The Hague. The room was nicely furnished and clean. The price was definitely reasonable for this accommodation. The staff were friendly, presumably students. If I travel to The Hague again, I will definitely choose this hotel.
Best location on the beach and very friendly reception staff everything near to the hotel tram, market, shopping, restaurant, parking garage, hotel underground also have parking spaces, but expensive the reception guy send us another parking garage half of the price we have save some money and paid for 3 night 39€
absolutely friendly host that made me feel welcome from the start. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and very tastefully done. The hotel is a couple of meters from the beach where you also find lots of restaurants. I had a wonderful relaxing stay.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, moreso than required but not to the point of being overbearing. The room was comfortable, everything worked well, and the location is very close to transport and to the beach. Everything was simple and easy.
The breakfast was great. The room rate was not cheap compared with other hotels in Scheveningen but it seems the hotel gave us a room upgrade. The inside of hotel was modern and new, both the gust room and public areas such as lobby and restaurant.
Bed was comfortable and room was quiet, despite facing the road.
The room had the essential for a one night staying and it was very close to amenities and the beach.
Good connections to the city just in front of the hotel.
Staff was very friendly. Delicious breakfast (All u can eat). Location is excellent- literally beachfront. Parking lot is right next to the hotel (Boulevard) and You will get a 60%-70% discount from the Hotel.
The hotel is very close to the sea side ( 5 minutes walk ) we went for Unox Nieuwjaarsduik Scheveningen, the staff is very warm and kind to let us have late check out due to the event, we truly appreciated :)
A quiet hotel by the sea. The breakfast is served in a room overlooking the Scheveningen beach - a great start of a day. The rooms had all the necessary amenities. The staff were kind and friendly.
The room was clean. The staff was nice. The hotel has its parking. The biggest impression I've got from their restaurant: it has a beautiful interior and a view of the beach.
Super nice hotel, very clean, location very close to the beach, lovely personnel! The room was super nice, and I also reserved a big room. And was super comfortable
Excellent location near the beach, public transport and parking garages. Small, but comfy and modern room and good price in comparisons with nearby hotels.
