I love my stay in Rotterdam cos of many spotting activities, restaurants are everywhere around the city centre where I stayed, it was fun and lively. It was my first-time visiting Rotterdam, but it was easy for me getting rides considering different public transport options within and outside the city, Train, metro, ramp, cycles everything.

I have been to Rotterdam many times and regard it as one of Europe's most interesting and go-ahead cities. The transformation of the inner city and harbour areas has been miraculous. A large proportion of the cars has been removed and replaced with world-class public transport. Stunning buildings punctuate the skyline, including the epic Centraal Station, the Markthal and De Rotterdam. Make sure you use the extraordinary river taxi service (download the app) and the lovely river bus service to Dordrecht. Oh and visit the pinball museum at Delfshaven - one of my favourite spots.

Great city to see a whole lot of weird (but really cool!!)
Great city to see a whole lot of weird (but really cool!!) architecture! Also really enjoyed eating in the Market Hall because there are a lot of good options and it's great to walk around the city and get to know coffee places. But at night we went all the day to eat in the Fenix Food Factory and it was really not worth it... Instead, if you enjoy a good ramen, I REAAALLY recommend Hinoki Noodle Soup! Great great food!

We just went for a short break via P&O ferry hull, transfer time to main railway station in the city by coach approximately 40 minutes. We spent the first day in Rotterdam when we arrived, not really into museums but there seems to be places to see, more the atmosphere and a wander, have a drink and food, there are plenty of places to eat, we went to bar Bokal, near the hotel which had a good atmosphere, not really a restaurant but good beer and burgers etc which we enjoyed, then usually move on which suited us well. The metro 1 hotel is in an excellent location and very near the metro station which we took for a day to visit Delft which is quite a small historic town but good for a look around, it's totally opposite to the modern Rotterdam. All in all an enjoyable trip for a couple of days which suited us, however if you're interested in museums and culture you may want to stay a bit longer. If you did want to venture further afield the rail system is excellent.

Rotterdam is a lively modern city with interesting architecture, such as the cube houses, the market hall or the new glass building of the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen which looks like a space ship landed in a nice city park. There are also various cool skyscrapers and other buildings. But despite being a bustling city, it's still very walkable, there are bike paths and good public transport options. There are some nice cafes and restaurants, especially a sea food place called Pesca which was an amazing experience. You can also take a 40 minute boat ride to Kinderdijk, a picturesque UNESCO site with beautiful windmills. One day is probably enough for Rotterdam, though, unless you want to visit museum and galleries.

Roterdam was nice to visit, we had only one night in Rotterdam. Good food, lots of shops, resturants and bars. It is very easy to visit Rotterdam.
Next time I will avoid FD hotel, as they were very rude from the first time I set foot in the hotel. After I left they took another 150 euros they said because I clogged the drains. This was not true, the drains were not clogged at all. This is another type of scam to take money. I asked to speak with the manager but said they cannot give me any information.
The room had a nasty smell specially in the bathroom maybe from the drains or humidity. Tv does not work and lift was stopping.
The stairs are steep, narrow and rounded very dangerous
Reasonable hotel for a location if you want to visit the University / Rotterdam Business School and the surrounding business park area. OK business hotel with actually a nice rich breakfast that gave good variety (cross-cultural options even). Pancakes comes from an automatic pancake machine. I like fresh pancakes but not these machined ones! So other than that part the breakfast is really good and if you can get it with the hotel rate - its a deal - though I am not sure I would splurge close to 20 Euros on it.
The hotel is located at a very central spot of Rotterdam, close to "Rotterdam Centraal" railway station.
There was no issue to check-in late, since the deck is working 24/7. The staff is brilliant, made me feel genuinely welcomed. They have provided an advice for the late dinner at the city.
Additionally, helped me with an issue by providing a creative solution.
Room was adorable - comfortable bed, spacious and clean area with the great view to the street.
I had an amazing stay at the Grand Hotel Central in Rotterdam. The location couldn't have been more perfect, right in the heart of the city. The staff, especially Cedric, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and provided a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rotterdam; it truly made my trip memorable."
Very modern and comfortable hotel. The rooms look small but they're quite comfortable thanks to their smart design. The staff is amazing and the lobby/common area is also very pleasant to spend time. Also, the location is very central and accessible for public transportation. Overall, I've been travelling to Rotterdam almost weekly for work and this hotel is my preferred place.
Great location, close to the heart of Rotterdam. The room was very clean and comfortable - nicely decorated. Good shower. Loved being able to check in and out using the machine - super quick. Even though the hotel is on de Meent with many busy bars and restaurants outside we didn’t hear a sound in our room - amazing. All in all a great stay.
Great location if attending the Rotterdam Ahoy - about a 15/20 minute walk.
Whilst it looks outdated and tired on the outside, the inside of the hotel is very nice and the bar area/reception were comfortable and social.
Large selection of beers in the reception area downside.
Large room with very modern bathroom and a great shower.
This brand new business hotel opened only two days before I stayed there, it's a very convenient place just next door to Ahoy Rotterdam. Beautiful and comfortable room, however, space for luggage is limited.
Fantastic breakfast! Staff is super friendly and helpful, be it at the reception, in the restaurant or around facility staff.
The room was a good size and it was painted in orange color. I found the bed comfortably enough and the room was quite clean. It's next to the airport which I think it was very convenient. There is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, that takes you to downtown Rotterdam.
Location is great, very close to city center, museums, bars/restaurants and also to Rotterdam Centraal. Staff was very helpful and explained everything in detail regarding our stay.
Overall a great option to stay in the city for a couple of days.
Very well located, the staffs are very friendly and kind. The room was perfect. I love the warm welcoming letter and amenities. Breakfast is a plus with a very good quality food. I would definitely go back to this hotel my next time in Rotterdam
Perfect location especially if you travel a lot with the train during your stay. Because of the location I could take later trains back to Rotterdam. The staff was helpful most of the times. The hotel has a noce ambiance.
Clean, spacious room with a nice view of the harbor from our window. The hotel is located at the heart of Rotterdam. The Swan Bridge and the Maritime District are within walking distance from the hotel.
When in Rotterdam I always book this hotel. Staff is very polite and gentle. The manager also always treats my requests with urgency and professionalism. Is definitely a place to stay.
I enjoyed the unique concept of "Hotel not Hotel Rotterdam," the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendly and attentive staff, and the must-visit bar on the property.
