Modern hotel with unique furnishings and design. Located right next to the Arena and Ziggo Dome, with all the advantages and disadvantages that come with it. On concert nights, there are large crowds and noise, sometimes lasting until 11-12 PM. It didn't bother us; in fact, we enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The metro is very close, and it’s a 5-minute walk plus a 15-20 minute metro ride to the city center. A great breakfast available for an extra fee.

I stayed at Movenpick for only 1 night on a business trip and everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. The Staff Service was very friendly and the facilities and room were super clean. The Gym is open 24x7 and the Sauna is open until 10pm daily. One nice feature I noticed in the washroom is it has guard rails for senior citizens & disable persons. Secondly, the room has USB plug points so incase you forgot your travel charger like I did, you can just plug in your USB cable to charge any device. Breakfast is an extra cost but well worth it as there were around 50 different items on the menu. Lastly, the views are overlooking Amsterdam, Centraal Station & the river so you may not feel like ever leaving the room.
