Didn’t have breakfast, liked location, staff good but the hotel needs redecorating, new carpets, curtains & upgraded kitchenette equipment plus complimentary tea & coffee. Overall it is shabby & dated & doesn’t make the most of its location. Lighting & furnishings poor & lack of lift is a problem.

Great reception from someone who knew what was discussed before arrival. The hotel is a lovely old building with quaint features but not old fashioned. The bike storage is great and has ventilation, overhead cover and two power outlets for charging. We had the set menu for dinner which was very well cooked, although not a la carte, it was a great meal for the money. The bedroom was spacious, limited coffee and tea sachets, a fridge, lots of power sockets and a seating area with two chairs and a small table. We didn't take breakfast.
Great hotel breakfast was brilliant as were the staff very friendly and helpful. Nice location with nearby shops and takeaways if you wanted to eat out. We had just the one night but would happily stay here again we had the family room and it had a kettle with tea and coffee as well as a small fridge and tv. Also really close to Hook of Holland port nice easy drive to the ferry.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel is quite and clean, beds are comfortable. You can have diner on request, which is then freshly made for you. Nice environment. Breakfast is simple, but enough!
