Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

Located in Midsland, within 2.3 km of Midsland aan Zee Beach and 2.8 km of West aan Zee Beach, Skylgerduin provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests...

The breakfast was really nice and the breakfast room was varied. The location, being really in the centre of the town was so nice. All restaurants were within 5 to 10 minutes walk.

The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry in a quiet side street just off the main strip. It's friendly, quite traditional, and owners are proud to share information about their island. They provide a nice Dutch breakfast, and there's a relaxing terrace bar area. It will be my first choice on a return visit.
