The location is absolutely stunning and very tranquil - It's set amongst woodland and is easy to reach the centre of town from the house. The house itself is beautifully decorated and they have many yummy teas and coffees to try, as well as the most amazing fresh flowers in the house. Bart & Almira are exceptional hosts and we were warmly welcomed on our arrival and shown how to use appliances in the as well as to our room. They also kindly let us store our bikes in their garage for our stay.
I honestly can't recommend this place enough and would be happy to come back in the future to stay here.

Beautiful historic building in a convenient location close to Ommen, in the stunning Vechtdal.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. My daughter (10) has coeliac and they did their utmost to accommodate us. My daughter was so happy, she often feels excluded.
Right next to the train station. Very quiet. Clean room with newly refurbished bathroom. Decent breakfast selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. 20 mins walk to the centre of Ommen. Everything was ideal for the purposes of my trip.
The hotel is an old well known one, beautifully situated along river Vecht. Staff was friendly, the central lobby and restaurant are OK, be it outdated. Dinner was good, breakfast excellent.
Had everything i needed and more. Loved the garden, great to have use of bike, cool bar resto a short walk away and Ommen was just great. Owner v helpful and super to communicate with.
