The room and bathroom was clean, and had what was needed. Appreciated having the small fridge. Breakfast offer was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. Location is a short walk from amenities, and also short walk to bus which goes to Leiden Central.
Fletcher Hotel- Restaurant De Witte Raaf is a beautiful 4-star hotel, a 20 minute walk through the woods and dunes from the beach. It is a peaceful place in a beautiful region.

Typical small Dutch town.
Typical small Dutch town. Divided into 2 parts (1-2 km away). One with commercial centre and two historic churches devoted to Saint Jeroen of Nordwijk. The second - close to the beach - with hotels and old village turned into walking and eating zone.
Good place for walking or biking or horseriding. On the beach or through the dunes. Interesting attractions for tourists (old Atlantic Wall bunkers, Eurospace expo, museum of English sailors) so there is something to do even during rainy times.
Close to Leiden and its museums and lovely streets.

In Leiden: When you want to enter to Train station with international ticket, bought not in the Netherlands, you may be stopped by entrance Automat. if so try to apply to officers, if they are near. Otherwise search for alarm button on left side of automat row and press it. Hope you will get human assistance. Have the reserve of time to enter to Station. The same situation with the exit from station.

Make sure you visit the Museum Engelandvaarders and there is a superb cafe/bar on the beach nearby
Breakers Beach House, Koningin Astrid Boulevard 5, 2202 BK Noordwijk, Netherlands - amazing place and superb reasonable food.
We did struggle parking though as most pay and display only accept Maestro or V Pay and not coins. Worth remembering but the beach area take both.
Haarlem and Leiden are also well worth a visit and make sure you go up to the top of the Hudson Bay Department Store as the cafe views are amazing
Breakfest was great and the town was beautiful, hotel was also near sea so we could get there by foot in about 15 minutes. Personal at the hotel was very nice, one evening we even wake the nice lady up in the morning because we were to loud and she wasnt even that angery and was very polite.
