I stayed in a single room in what looks like a new annex to the main building. The room was pretty spacious and clean. I especially liked the shower and the fact that there were a microwave, mini fridge, some dishes/cutlery, and hair dryer. There was an AC and fan but I could not get it to work (I thought it was too late at night to bother the owners). A mosquito net over the bed for people who like to have the windows open. Breakfast was in a large, modern room and was a very nice buffet with a lot of variety of good quality foods to choose from. For people who enjoy the countryside and active holidays, this is a nice setting for a good value.

NH Maastricht is situated on the edge of the historic city, right next to the MECC convention centre. It features spacious rooms, an intimate terrace and health centre with wellness facilities.

The location beats the disadvantages! I don’t know why some reviewers didn’t like the mattresses and pillows, I didn’t have a problem with them. I think I was so tired from walking, I would just doze off on the wooden floor 😂 I loved the hotel’s vibe and its interior design. Some room decor and furniture items like a mirror, closet, tables are vintage indeed. I found this blend with modern design solutions quite interesting.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing atmosphere. Everything was top quality, the staff were nice and friendly and the stay was very comfortable and peaceful. Location is great, close to central parts of Maastricht but in a more quiet area.
