My husband and I loved our stay here. We found the room very comfortable albeit a little dated however it was very homely and warm….i liked that. A couple of little things prevented me from giving full marks. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and the service was excellent. The food was not, in my opinion, the best. I believe there is a new chef so Im sure it will be sorted. We would go back in a heartbeat and stay in this accommodation. The area gave me a feeling of calmness and relaxation. Parking was not a problem.

The house is really amazing and has an upscale feeling. The garden, the animals, the pool and other surroundings around the facility make it really outstanding. Our room was very comfortable with a small terrace to the garden. You should know that, this is a peaceful area & hotel with nature only around where you can sit and relax quitely. Central location newly refurbished property which has been refurbished to the highest standard. Excellent bed, bathroom and a high standard of finish. The property was clean,comfortable and welcoming. Staff available and helpful with excellent food in the evening and for breakfast.

we staid in the poortwoning in stead of the hotel due to a failure in the bookingsystem of booking.com.
but it all worked out very well, the poortwoning was even better to stay in with our friends that than rooms in the hotel.
we hade some pretty goods diner aswell in the pub across the hotel. we didn't taste the 50 belgium beers, but had diner twice, and the cook did some amazing work. no complaints about taste etc at all from either of us.
The personnel was perfect and willing to help or advise. The place and the environment around the hotel are excellent, and there are many opportunities to spend time actively. It is also close to Overloon, where you can visit the military museum or ZOO park.
What a nice hotel, nice owners, good service.
