Not a lot, it was not what we expected. Bed was comfy but the the restored workman's hut looked tired, the windows were filthy and smelled damp. No tea or coffee or welcome biscuits.

We loved it here as it was like a mini apartment with a kitchen,bathroom and bedroom. There was a separate entrance and a door with access to the lovely garden next to a canal. The breakfast was delivered on a tray in the morning and was excellent. Our bikes were stored in a secure garage.

We booked two nights for six people and had a wonderful time on the sailing yacht LYRA.
It was quite spacious for our group, clean and a unique experience in a beautiful location. Captain Casey was very friendly and even gave us tips for our stay in the area.

Our very friendly host welcomed us after our very last-minute booking. The service was great, a large bathroom and bedroom and lovely breakfast. The only downsides were the shower temperature (a little cool) and the coffeemachine made watery coffee, but our host did offer fresh coffee so no biggie. Overall a great experience!

The kitchen area was a great help. But the terrace overlooking the water was superb. We loved watching the ducks, coots and chicks and hearing the frogs. So relaxing. Good base for seeing Enkhuisen.

The house is unique and fully equipped with everything you need. There are even bicycles, water wheel, washing machine and dryer.
There is an indoor pool and relaxation area in the complex.

One of the best places in Northern Holland to visit if you like strolling around little harbour and drinking coffee or beer at nice cafes and bars.

Medemblik is very small green town, with petite houses and few little canals. There is also nice castle to see and you can enjoy the views over little harbour. Very relaxed and nice town to stay to further explore cost and other towns nearby.
Fantastic place. The house is beautiful, very well-kept and very clean and fully equipped with necessary accessories for everyday use. The hosts are very warm and helpful, respecting the privacy of guests. I'm very pleased with my stay. Medemblik is a lovely town with wonderful people. The house is located in a great place, close to shops, restaurants and public transport. I highly recommend this place and I plan to visit it again. Thank you ❤️
Comfortable vacation house in rec area close to Medemblik. Well maintained , with about everything you might need in the kitchen etc, including the free use of bikes. Comfortable beds. The friendly German owner opened the house for us and showed us around. Would rent again.
The place was tidy and clean and the mattress was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the garden while having our breakfast.

We had an amazing stay at the van gogh huis in medemblik. The house has is nice, cozy and is near the centrum of this beautiful town medemblik and the ocean. Perfect Location. We would love to come back.
We had a really large room with a balcony which was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent and what you can expect from a 3-star hotel. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful.
