Our hosts were very friendly, and looked after us. The room for 4 was great and spacious, and room in the garage for us to store our bikes. The breakfast was also excellent! Great little honesty bar too. Good selection of restaurants nearby, in a quiet residential town.

Room and bathroom was nice and clean, not any noise was noticed from the neighbors, the bed was comfy and clean. Great garden with some wild rabbits around was fascinating :), big swimming pool, and also nice place for the kids to play. Very big parking slots for 10euros per day and only 10min with train to the central train station in Rotterdam. Definitely we will come again.

It's really in the city center at the canals. The entrance is in a lovely building. The location is superb. Breakfast was fine. The weather was nice.

Upon arrival after a lengthy flight, I faced the immediate inconvenience of no hot water availability.
This issue persisted for two days, despite my numerous complaints to the reception. The response I received was that due to high gas prices, guests might have to adapt to using cold water.
While I understand economic pressures can impact operational decisions, the lack of prior notification and the flippant suggestion that guests would “soon be able to not only stand but wash in cold water” was neither professional nor acceptable.
The situation caused significant discomfort and led to health concerns, as I fell ill and was traveling with my young child, who also suffered due to this issue.

There was a warm welcome at this comfortable and stylish little hotel. Breakfast was fresh and promptly served. Lovely toiletries and a 'trust' bar is available in the evening. They made a booking at a local restaurant for me, and got me a taxi in the morning, which was very helpful
The staff were amazing! They referred the hotel / B&B as a "family home", and they truly managed to live up to that name!
And despite me asking Pieter Jan, the nice gentleman who runs the establishment with his lovely wife Jeanette, if I could check in at around 22:00 due to my late flight, the man graciously waited by the door of the hotel to greet my and welcome me to the family home.
This was really the greatest hotel or B&B that I've stayed at in ages!
The room was spacious with plenty of lighting and a large bed. There was outside pace for sitting in the evening.
Maasland is only a few miles from Hook of Holland very port so very convenient as an overnight before or after a crossing.
The location is wonderful, the owners are lovely people and cannot do enough for you. The room was very comfortable and very clean. There are some very good restaurants nearby. The town of Maasland is a real gem!.
