Comfortable, large and luxurious rooms. We travel a lot, and this is probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We loved the spa area and pool which was very clean, smelled lovely and had a relaxing atmosphere.
Great food in the restaurant. Great receptionists and staff all over. Everything was amazing!

Warm welcome from the staff in the lovely hotel. Room was spotlessly clean, well lit and aircon worked well. Great to have a safe place to lock my bike.
Wonderful location in the old town of Leerdam, minutes walk from the glass shops, river and marina. Plenty to see and do right there. Hotel breakfast was ample and dinner was great, suggestions as to what menu items were good, gladly received.

The hotel is located in a pretty historical building overlooking the canal/river.
I had booked a single bedroom which was huge and very bright with a great bathroom.
The breakfast was also very good and staff were very polite and helpful and I felt right at home.
A very nice restaurant is downstairs and in summer you can sit outside on a veranda right by the canal.
Location is great as you can explore Leerdam itself (try the Leerdam cheese in one of the local cheese shops) and surroundings.
Almost everything (except for issues with the key, see the 'What I didn't like') was perfect. The location is amazing, the room is very comfortable and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we did not have the chance to enjoy the breakfast because we left the hotel early on most days, and on the days that we did not we went to have breakfast with my father, who lives in Leerdam. I saw the breakfast boxes of other guests, and they looked really nice.
I had asked the hotel staff if it was possible to get another bed inside the room, so that an unexpected friend could stay aswell! They did this and for that I'm very grateful! Because of this I almost wanted to leave a 5 star review. Furthermore the hotelroom was amazing! I would recommend the hotel for a stay!
This hotel really took an advantage of being outside of a big city. I paid the same amount for a hotel in Amsterdam having one fifth smaller room. This hotel's room have a super cozy space, bathtub, nice furniture, good restaurant, friendly staff and all. I loved my stay and will definitely come back.
