The location was perfect . Able to get a good quality hotel just one stop away from central for a much cheaper price than in the centre.
Room was lovely, airy and clean , bed very comfortable, found it hard to get out of it .
Breakfast was perfect , not listed in the ad is there is scrambled eggs and lovely little herby tomatoes , plenty fresh pastries, Bread, rolls cold meats and cheese , pastries , jam, chocolate , fruit and yoghurt , tea, coffee and little muffins and a very nice tropical juice, my partner enjoyed the orange juice .
Spar supermarket literally attached to the building where you can get a litre of wine for 5 euros, result. Restaurant outside to the left looked nice , didn’t try but menu looked good . Station literally a hop skip and jump with one stop to central .

It is very easy to move around as the train station is close. A must-visit are the windmills and farms where you can see the animals, enjoy a meal, and walk around. Most farms give you food samplings to try out before buying, and it's all organic and tasty.

It is small village along the river between the famous museum Zaanse Schans and Zaandam. Very quiet and peaceful. I found there a place to eat, a supermarket, a good shop for households. To Zaandam once an hour there is a bus. The train station is close.
