The apartment was modern with everything that was listed. It was warm and cozy with a gas fire. The sauna was also good to relax in. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need and there is also a coffee machine for convenience.
Overall a pretty nice quiet place to relax in.

Excellent location, just few minutes' walk to the main shopping area. Also has a big Jumbo supermarket 2 minutes' walk away. The street is very quiet at night, and the pizza place in the same building is fantastic!

A very quiet place with its own lawn, perfect for breakfast or dinner with a view on trees and the sound of birds. Very relaxing. Ideal also for a long stay. It's in the middle of nowhere but the village can be easily reached by bike.

They kept the main house mostly intact which was nice to see, the garden beautiful even though it rained a lot, not a chance of playing golf though, rooms in addition nice snd spacious, staff extremely friendly
Hotel room was very spacious, beds comfortable, the bathroom large and the shower was amazing. Wide selection of cereals, meats, cheeses and pastries for breakfast. Hotel was ideally situated for our needs, we were attending the European Dodgeball Championships at the sports centre but is a fairly long walk to restaurants there is an Aldi about 10 - 15 minutes walk for supplies.
Very much enjoyed a 4 night stay as a Christmas break. Room was very spacious and well equipped. Bathroom offered bath in addition to shower - constant hot water and good towels. Enjoyed buffet breakfast and dinner from a La Carte menu - all good very well cooked food and served nicely.

Easy parking as they have their own parking place. The restaurant is typical van der Valk and the food quality is good.
All facilities for having drinks or food are there. The hotel is on the outskirt of Drachten but I didn't mind walking to town after a long drive from Germany.
